People should be aware that email from tgcomics.com sometimes gets spoofed. I get spam pretending to be from my own email account (femur), but it's definitely not generated by me or anyone else at TGComics. The spammers out there are creating bogus emails! So please, beware!!! I just got a new one purporting to be from "customersupport" [at] tgcomics.com. The subject line is "your mailbox has been deactivated". If you receive any suspicious email with a tgcomics.com email address (even one from me), be sure to treat it as spam!

Just a quick note to say I've reposted Siproites' Running sequence.
I jumped the gun on this one and posted it before Sip could send me larger, better scans. Also, when I originally posted it, I flipped some of the images, so the runner's stride was altered in each panel, but now I'm posting it as Siproites originally drew the sequence (sometimes I meddle too much!).
So, long story short, if you've taken a peek at Running before, you might want to look again. You may have to hit "reload" on your browser to see the new images.
November 13, 2009
Happy Friday the 13th! It's definitely a very happy day for me, because it marks the return of Siproites to the site. Sip was M.I.A. for awhile there (which tends to happen in TG-land), but now he's back!
To celebrate, we've got three new sequences from one of the true masters of linework and anatomy. I can't rave enough about Sip's capacity for drawing. He's one of the very best!
Little Nathaniel shows the transformation of a runt of a man who always wished he was taller and more powerful.
Evil Angel illustrates what happens when an angel sheds his wings and embraces his (her) darker side.
Running shows the power of a regular exercise program. Turns out it truly can transform one's body. (I think a few more of us here would be hitting the track every day if we could get results like these!)
So let's welcome Sip back to TGComics. He's also working on a Premium Comic that will someday be offered for sale on the site. I don't want to put any pressure on Sip, but I have to tell you, the pages he's already completed are breathtakingly gorgeous! Can't wait to see the rest.
In other site news, thanks to everyone who's entered the CBlack Song Lyric Contest. Sorry we ran it so ineptly (without setting one, specific deadline). I promise we'll do a better job the next time around.
And be sure to check out TGCaps. There's been a lot of great stuff posted in recent days by Lorna Samuels, Jezzi Stewart, Vinnymonster and Annabelle Raven. The TGCaps Forum seems to be finally taking off as well. There have been so many terrific new posts I really shouldn't single anyone out (though I guess I'll go ahead and say thanks to Captain Dunsel, Fleur, Helen Buckley and Dichotomy, among others).

Got a nice treat for everyone today. Chapter 5 of CBlack's Narcissus' Twin.
You may be asking, what Chapter 5? Didn't it say The End after Chapter 4? That is true, but CBlack did tell us that he might do an extra chapter/epilogue for this story at a later date, and so, here we are. We decided to call it Chapter 5 rather than Epilogue, since the action picks up right where the previous chapter left off, and rolls on from there.
Not to give anything away, but I think everyone who enjoyed the first four chapters of Narcissus' Twin will love the twists and turns (and humor) in Chapter 5. Will TJ ever learn to become a better person? Will Eric ever run out of patience? Will Tina stick around? Read the 95 new panels in Chapter 5 to find out some answers!
This chapter/epilogue almost never saw the light of day, because, as CBlack explained it to me, "to tell the truth, I almost trashed this chapter after someone in the Forum proposed the [same] idea after I'd already written the entire script! I was so pissed, I came very close to deleting the whole thing! But I went ahead and finished it anyway, and hope the poster doesn't think I stole his idea."
I'd chalk this up to brilliant minds thinking alike, in this case the minds being CBlack and Chalkerfan! And I'm sure many of you, like me, will be eternally grateful that CBlack restrained himself from hitting that delete button!
CBlack's next work will be a new Premium Comic. It's tentatively titled Are You Ready to Rock?, and involves an American Idol-ish song contest. If you haven't seen it already, there's currently a Song Lyric Contest going on for this comic. Check it out! If you happen to write some winning lyrics, you can nab a free copy of Are You Ready to Rock? when it's published (or select one of the other Premium Comics as a prize if you prefer).

Tonight's a full moon, so it's Werewif time again.
Gwydhar and Ellen Schuler continue to up the pace in Chapter 18 of this ongoing series. Does Linus/Lindsay have bigger things to worry about than swapping sex every full moon? Intriguing stuff, to be sure. And more great art by Gwydhar. Love all the use of black in the panels (sample at right).
Gwydhar has had a rough month. As she says in her email, "If you haven't heard, a few weeks ago my main computer was stolen during a burglary of my apartment. They were some discerning burglars too -- took the computer and all my art and filmmaking computer software but at least they didn't toss the place or steal anything sentimental like my jewelry or my external drive with all the (ahem!) upcoming Werewif episodes!"
I'm sure there are many reading this who know how horrible and depressing being robbed can be, so let's wish Gwydhar well and send good thoughts her way via the Forum.

This is it. The day many of you have been waiting for. Today we're posting the epilogue of Mask of Venus. Commotion22 has created 42 multi-paneled pages this time around. More terrific page layouts. More intense emotional scenes. I don't want to give anything away, but I will say that our understanding of the characters of Allen, Christine and Jon is deepened in these pages. I think the epilogue makes a satisfying conclusion to the story (and sets things up nicely for a sequel).
As I've mentioned before, I've poked around enough in 3D programs such as Daz and Poser to know how difficult and time-consuming it is to render any image, so I once again have to express my admiration with Commotion22's ambition in creating Mask of Venus. To tackle a story with so many characters, settings and props in one's freshman (or is that freshwoman) effort is to be commended.
The feedback's been terrific on Mask of Venus so far, and I don't think any fans of the comic will be disappointed with the epilogue (other than wanting more, which is, in my mind, always the sign of a good story).
Let's give Commotion22 a hearty pat on the back, wish him a nice rest over the holidays, and urge him to come back with Mask of Venus II as soon as possible (greedy TG comic fans that we are!). Well done, sir. Well done!

Never a dull moment around here. Now that TGComics and TGCaps are on the same server, if one goes down, so does the other. And that's what happened last night. At least for me. My ISP says everything was fine, but I couldn't connect, couldn't get email. Nothing. Did anyone else have problems connecting during that time? Hopefully it was only a temporary hiccup. Still, it would be nice to know what's going on! Sigh.
In any case, we're back to doing updates comprised of content, rather than redesign and coding. And today's update features the most original, audacious artist on the site, Frontios.
Pregnant Princess PI is a new, 14-page, multi-paneled comic (plus a bonus pic after the comic, as well as the bee-yoo-ti-ful sketch on the right) from the bard of ballooning bellies. This comic is filled monsters, koo koo bellies, gumshoes, girlfriends, and superheroes, among other things.
Energy, enthusiasm and edginess make Frontios' comics great fun to read. I'm tickled to say he's been kind enough to offer Pregnant Princess PI as an exclusive on TGComics.
For everyone who complains about always reading variations of the same story when it comes to TG fiction and comics, then Frontios is your antidote. His work may not be to everyone's taste, but it's guaranteed you've never read or seen anything before like Pregnant Princess PI.
Enjoy!

Today marks a big change in terms of TGComics and its sister site, TGCaps. Up until now they've been more like cousins than sisters, but that's all changing. We've making it easier to navigate back and forth between sites by adding a link on the far right of the menu bar to take you to the sister site of whichever one you're on.
That will help, I think. But the biggest change is to the forums. Both the TGComics and TGCaps forums now use the same database. This means every member of the TGComics Forum is automatically a member of the TGCaps Forum. I've moved all "modified" and "capped" related posts on the TGComics Forum to the TGCaps Forum. So if you're looking for a thread that was on TGComics, please check the TGCaps Forum.
I realize this is an adjustment, but to make it easier to go back and forth, there's now a button on the upper right of each forum that will take you directly to the other one. And the TGCaps Forum has been reorganized. It's a work in progress, in the coming weeks some more threads will probably be moved around. If you have any suggestions in terms of organization, feel free to make them on either forum.
Couple more things -- since the forums now run on one combined database, you will see the SAME private messages when you are on either site. You will see the same polls on either site. I've copied over all the avatars from TGComics to TGCaps, but you can change them and have different avatars on the different sites if you so choose. Also, if you had a separate password for the TGCaps Forum, you should now use your TGComics Forum password instead. All registration and password or email changes must be done on TGComics. Finally, you do need to log in separately to each site (same username and password for both). No getting around that. Hope that all makes sense. Post a message on either forum if it doesn't, or if you have questions about anything.

We've got a four-part update today, featuring hand-drawn art by some of your favorite artists.
First up is Vampire's Victim. It's a twenty-five page, multi-paneled, black-and-white comic by Infinity Sign. There's also a cover page and some bonus pics in the back. Until now, Infinity has had this comic up for sale on his own website. His selling set-up is a little different than the Premium Comics here. Infinity basically asks for a set fee to read some of his comics, with the understanding that, after the comic has been posted for a year (more or less), it will become freely available to everyone. Vampire's Victim is the first of his comics to make this transition from pay to free. It's now posted here for everyone to enjoy.
Vampire's Victim tells the story of a vampire on the run who takes refuge in the body of a female victim. It's only meant to be a temporary stopping place, until he can find a suitable male host. But sometimes even the best of plans can go awry, especially when there are other diabolical creatures roaming the streets at night (namely one Dr. Jekyll). Please be aware that this comic contains graphic depictions of sexually explicit content.
There's a definite manga influence on Infinity's art. It amazes me that he can do both hand-drawn and 3D art well. The guy is a truly talented artist!
And speaking of talented artists, we're posting three new M2F sequences by the enormously gifted Smooch. Be sure to check out Rave New World, She-Wolf of Suburbia and A New Suit. Smooch's pencil work continues to dazzle me. I love the opening panels of She-Wolf; the fluid line, the perfect poses. Rave shows off his slick sense of humor. And New Suit shows how he tends to get the little details right (such as the way the suit drapes over the smaller, feminized body). I'm amazed at Smooch's creativity and admire his productivity. It's a thrill and an honor to be able to host his work here!

Back with another in our seemingly endless string of updates!
It's my pleasure today to post Part Three of Bachelor Pad. Keshara's been very patient, waiting for me to get the twenty-seven new pages up on the site. And I've been dying to get them uploaded myself, because I think nobody does does 3D art quite like Kesh. The soft lighting, the original layouts, the extraordinary backgrounds and the figures themselves make Bachelor Pad a true visual treat.
And the story is pretty original too. It's creepy and sexy and disturbing -- all good things in my book. As most of you know, it's based on Mako's short film Project Eden. The film used to be posted on the now-shuttered Siren Song website. It can currently be purchased as a DVD from Mako's website. The DVD contains all of Mako's films that used to be available on Siren Song, and includes animated work by CBlack and Daniel-San as well. I can say it's well worth the $20 they're asking.
One quick plug. As many of you know, I'm a HUGE fan of TGTales' mash-ups on YouTube. He's posted a number of true gems in recent weeks. Be sure to check out The Pageant. And don't miss his TG twist on the Surrogates movie either!

To all of you who have been waiting for Ariel Redux to become available for sale on Lulu.com, thanks for holding on!
As usual, we're charging slightly more for the Lulu version, since they keep a bigger percentage of the price. So, it'll cost you $6.50 if you want to buy Ariel Redux from Lulu.
Also, as before, if you buy from Lulu and want to have access to the Ariel Redux Gallery on the site, simply send an email to . The email should contain your TGC User Name, the Lulu Order Number, and the Special Thank You Code (which you'll receive in a "Thank You" email from lulu.com).
Finally, please note that if you download the PDF, in order to properly view the three pages with animation, you'll probably need to view it using Adobe Acrobat Reader (free software). Still haven't determined if the animation can be seen with any other PDF software.
To celebrate Ariel appearing on Lulu.com, I thought I'd post a little interview I did with CBlack about the comic. I meant to post this when Ariel was first released on the site, but promptly forgot! I've always enjoyed author/artist interviews myself. I think they can be both fun and revealing. If people would like to see more of this sort of thing, please say so on the Forum. Anyway, here's our little Q&A:
Femur: As far as I know, Ariel Redux was the first 3D comic that you made. As I recall, at the time you were making movies on the old Siren Song website. What led to the switch from movies to comics?
CBlack: Before I did Ariel I had also written several TG stories and had them posted in various places. I started putting images in them which led to making full-fledged comics. Movies were a heckuva lot harder considering render time and the quality of the images. I rarely do any animations anymore.
Femur: You use Carrara and Comic Life to create your recent comics (Narcissus' Twin and Road Trip, for instance). What software did you use to make Ariel?
CBlack: I used Poser for the initial images and then used Ulead Photimpact for the text. I didn't have Photoshop back then (too expensive for my meager means.) I still user Poser occasionally to set-up some scenes and import them into Carrara, especially ones with dynamic cloth.
Femur: I've always been curious, when you plot a comic, do you have the entire story fleshed out? Or do you sometimes head off in a different direction as you go along?
CBlack: I never have the entire plot ahead of time. I have a concept and then start fleshing it out as I go. Sometimes I get an idea toward the end of the story and go off in a whole new direction. I didn't come up with the ending for Narcissus until I was almost done with the whole thing.
Femur: Do you write all the dialogue and captions first, or do you create the pictures and let the people's expressions and poses shape what is said?
CBlack: I do most of the dialog and captions first in a notebook, with the occasional image created to try something out. Sometimes I start with a particular transformation and work a story around it... it depends on how well my creative juices are flowing.
Femur: What did you learn while working on Ariel? What was the most satisfying aspect of making the comic? What was the most frustrating?
CBlack: The most satisfying... probably the way it was received. I had no idea people would like it so much. The most frustrating... learning the limitations of Poser and my computer. I've upgraded completely twice since I made Ariel. About the only original part to my computer is the case... I've replaced everything inside it a couple of times over the years trying to improve and support higher end 3D programs.
Femur: How do you feel about Ariel when you look at the images now? I think there are some aspects of the images that are less satisfying than your newer work, but at the same time, I find the panels of Ariel very satisfying. Your storytelling chops are already there. The compositions. The pacing. Everything we love in a CBlack comic.
CBlack: When I look back at the Ariel images I made in Poser and compare them to the ones I now make in Carrara, I get a brief flash to go redo the series in Carrara because I'm not real happy with the quality... relatively speaking. But I no longer have the original Poser files or images without text from Ariel (one too many computer upgrades!), so I'd have to start from scratch. Considering the original took me over a year to make without any long dry periods in between, I don't have the patience to redo the entire 20 chapters!
Femur: What kind of comics, if any, did you read growing up? Were you a fanboy of any kind? Did you like any independent/underground comics? Any comics from other countries?
CBlack: I was strictly a Marvel and DC kind of kid. Especially Spiderman, Fantastic Four and such. Stan Lee is my hero!
Femur: Who were your favorite artists and writers?
CBlack: I don't know the names of the actual artists, but the ones that made the women so damn voluptuous and 'super-heroine-esque' in their skin tight outfits get my undying thanks! They helped jump-start my puberty!

The update stream continues! Today's feature is Chapter 10 of Commotion22's sci-fi saga, The Mask of Venus.
The finale of this 3D comic features 60 action-packed, multi-panel pages. Poor Allen/Christine is in a fragile state of mind, trying to cope with her feminine state, and perhaps this is why she volunteers for a dangerous, even suicidal mission.
I continue to be amazed that this is Commotion22's first 3D undertaking. From everything I understand about creating 3D comics, it's an incredibly ambitious effort. Not only are tons of characters, costumes, props and settings necessary for this story, but Commotion22 has also taken on the daunting task of laying the story out in multi-paneled pages. I think he's doing it all incredibly well. For example, I love the dynamic layouts on pages five through ten of this chapter. There's an energy and tension created by the compositions here that could not possibly be achieved in single-panel format.
Thank goodness there is going to be an epilogue to Mask of Venus, since this chapter ends on a total cliffhanger. Can't wait to see what Commotion22 cooks up for that!
I'm also pretty sure that Commotion22 plans to return to this same sci-fi setting in a future comic (perhaps the next one?). There certainly seems to be a lot more to explore in terms of storylines. It's exciting to see someone who has thought through so many minute details of the interesting universe they've created. Great job, Commotion22!

Me and my big mouth. Just two days after crowing about how good my schedule looks for the next few months, there's been a "real life" hiccup that will definitely cut into my TG time. It won't affect regular updates here or anything (not as long as TGC has so many great contributing artists!), but it will affect trying to get my own work done on top of running this site (and doing admin work on TGCaps as well). Sigh.
But I can't feel too gloomy when we're in the midst of such an awesome string of updates, can I?
Today we're serving up a brand new 3D comic by Seer Coltz. The Ex is another riff on the idea that inspired Incompatible, Seer Coltz's first comic on the site, that is, a guy who wants to understand the reasons why his girlfriend dumped him.
The Ex goes in a different direction than Incompatible. It's got more sex in it, more realistic 3D figures, and I think the storyline and Seer Coltz's execution is a lot of fun. I'm very happy that Seer has joined the roster of contributors, and I'm eagerly looking forward to see what he cooks up in the next TG comic he creates.
Back in a few days (Saturday at the latest). Enjoy!
October 4, 2009
I'm still scrambling to catch up with things after my trip. There's a back-log of comics to post, links to update, and behind-the-scene maintenance and upgrade work to do... the list never seems to end!
The good news is that there will definitely be a number of nice updates in the coming days. Since it's a full moon tonight, we'll start off the string with Chapter 17 of The Werewif. I'm a little late posting this tonight due to an email snafu with Gwydhar. In any case, this month she's drawn another dozen lovingly rendered panels, depicting the ever-evolving, always emotional relationship between Lindsay and Suzie. As usual, I can't wait to see what happens next!
My schedule looks good for the next few months in terms of getting things accomplished on the site. I think it's going to be a good fall for TGComics. Thanks for being patient with me. And stay tuned!
September 24, 2009
I can't believe we've reached the end (more or less) of Girl In My Dream. Episode 52 of Sizzkun's and Burntwitch's epic manhwa is being posted today (and it's the first episode that's in color). Epi 52 is the final chapter in the story of Ji-hoon/Ji-hyun, Jin-young, Miya, and the rest of the gang. There is, I believe, one "special" episode that will follow this one, so we'll still get one last glimpse at the characters many of us have come to love after this.
Many of you know that this ending is not the one that Sizzkun had in mind when he wrote the original novel (in Korean). Burntwitch decided he wanted to work on his own manhwa at this point, and came up with a solution to quickly bring the story to a close. For a quickie wrap-up, I must say it's not a bad ending at all, but bear in mind that it's not what Sizzkun wrote.
There is hope that Burntwitch may someday resume drawing more episodes of Girl In My Dream and follow Sizzkun's original storyline to the end, but that won't be happening for some time (if it happens at all), because Burntwitch has some physical problems that currently prevent him from drawing anything.
In any case, let's raise a glass and toast this terrific TG comic. Thanks to Sizzkun once again for translating the entire story into English (and re-doing all the lettering). Thanks to Burntwitch for drawing so many lovely pages and visually memorable characters. Here's to Girl In My Dream. It's been a great run!
September 17, 2009
Today, I'm doing the first TGComics update ever while being on the road! This won't mean much to most people who visit the site (and it shouldn't), but for me it's a satisfying step, being able to give folks some new TG content while traveling. I won't ever have as much time to spend on the site while I'm taking a trip, but at least it's something.
Something special, that is. Today's update contains some of Infinity Sign's most breathtaking images (see a great sample of what I'm talking about on the right). Daddy's Prom 2 continues the comic (based on a story by Chrissi) of Amy and Jeff, a young couple who inadvertently turned Amy's father into a prom date for Jeff's little brother. At least, that's what's supposed to happen, but Amy's Daddy is having enough trouble adjusting to his new, buxom body to even think about being a guy's date. But sometime's a man's got to do what a man's got to do, even if that means buying new clothes, learning to wear make-up, and getting a sexy new hairstyle, right?
September 11, 2009
I wanted to let people know that I'm heading off on a trip tomorrow. I'll be on the road for a couple of weeks. I will, for the first time ever, have a laptop with me, so there's a chance I'll be able to do some updates from the road, but won't promise anything, because I'm not sure how much time I'll have.
For the last update before I hit the road, we've got Episode 51 of Girl In My Dream. Burntwitch's and Sizzkun's epic manhwa is winding down, but this episode is also guaranteed to wind a few people up! Enjoy!
Also wanted to plug what I think is a great, ongoing TG fiction blog. I haven't come close to reading the entire thing (up to 36 Chapters as of today), but the first dozen chapters or so are definitely a lot of fun. Check out Take a Lemon, by Russell Gold. I'm betting many of you who read my ramblings will like it!
September 6, 2009
Today we're putting up our third premium comic for sale. Ariel Redux may be new to some of you, but others will remember it as CBlack's first effort at making a 3D comic. It was up on the old Siren Song website (though in slightly different format. Each chapter there was a SWF file that you clicked through. Here we have made it into one of our usual galleries, with a separate jpeg for each panel (except for the 3 panels which have animation and remain SWFs). It's also available for download as a 574-page PDF (which you should view using Acrobat Reader 9 so you can properly view the animated panels).
Ariel Redux has many of the hallmarks we've come to expect from a TG tale by CBlack. It's a rollicking, roller-coaster ride as Alex, our hero, goes through many stages of adjusting to life as a woman after his body is forever altered by a brutal beating. There's some surgery, some brainwashing, and some great interactions between Alex's male and female selves (as displayed in the picture on the right). And, as in many CBlack stories, there's many babelicious images and some steamy sexual situations.
Some will say we have a tendency to do things ass-backwards here at TGComics. We put up Narcissus' Twin, CBlack's glorious new comic, for free, while we're charging for an older comic, Ariel Redux. But the good news is that, since this is something of a reprint, we're charging less than we would for a new CBlack comic. I'm hoping some of you who have read the comic before will still be willing to pony up the $6.00 price we're asking for in order to support the site. I hope so, because CBlack is, as I've mentioned before, our most popular artist on the site. As evidence, after we posted Narcissus on the site last month, our bandwidth usage once again went through the roof!
I should definitely mention that you can preview the first three chapters of the story (out of twenty chapters in all) before buying. And the fact that this version has a new cover page and new chapter titles (but is otherwise identical to the previous version). Also, we'll put Ariel Redux up for sale at Lulu.com at the end of the month, so those of you who can't or don't want to use CCBill will be able to buy it there. If you still have questions, you can find out more information about Ariel Redux on the preview page.
Thanks for reading through my ramblings. And thanks, as always, for supporting TGComics!
September 4, 2009
It's a full moon tonight, and I think everyone knows what that means! Another new chapter of The Werewif. Twelve more terrific panels from Gwydhar's talented pen!
Chapter 16 kicks off Season 3 of Gwydhar's serialized comic. I'm not sure if the pace has picked up because of the new writer, Ellen Schuler, likes to move a plot along at a faster pace, or if we're simply at that point in the story where dramatic things are occurring, but I have to confess that, when I read panel 12, I immediately ran to the calendar to check the date for the full moon in October 2009, so I'd know when I'll get to see what happens next! Another great cliff-hanger. Between Werewif and Girl In My Dream, these serialized comic cliff-hangers are wearing me out!
One other quick note. Infinity Sign has just posted an 18-page, hand-drawn, fan-art comic, Dragonball Z (#2) on TGCaps. If you enjoy Infinity's work (especially the more explicit kind), it's well worth checking out. Also, Jezzi Stewart has posted yet another fresh batch of Vaingirls covers in the last few days, so our sister site is definitely humming along. Just need to get the Forum over there to be a little livelier (it's gonna happen eventually!).
September 2, 2009
Don't quite know where to start with tonight's update. So many different pieces to choose from!
I guess I'll begin with Smooch. We're catching up on some work you might have seen elsewhere on the web in the past days and weeks. The Triumph of Dr. Aloysius Phigbert is a wonderful, 30-panel sequence set in Victorian times. It's got everything I enjoy from Smooch; a detailed transformation, an awesome transformation, and some eye-pleasing cleavage.
A second sequence by Smooch is titled Guy2Spy. It's a lovely, 12-panel sequence that will melt the hearts of anyone who ever watched Dianna Rigg in the great black-and-white British TV show, The Avengers.
Finally from Smooch are five new pieces in his Portfolio. Well worth another look, even if you've seen 'em before!
Next up are two episodes (#49 and #50) of Girl In My Dream. Burntwitch's and Sizzkun's epic TG manhwa is in its final chapters (unless Burntwich decides to draw more at some later date), and I'm going to be sad to see it end. So, enjoy the great lay-outs and dynamic figures from Burntwitch's talented pencil while you can. He really does draw so very well! And Sizzkun's characters and story continue to evolve.
Let's not neglect Chiara and Varian. There have been a lot of great captions in Caption Contest 6, and we've picked a Winner. Congratulations, Aardvark, for writing the witty and succinct winner. Thanks to Varian for all his hard work putting the balloons onto your words. Thanks to everyone who wrote some caps for the contest. And thanks to Chiara for drawing the nifty picture that inspired everyone.
The winning captions are now in Chiara's new Portfolio, along with another fine piece of art (with Chiara's exquisite watercolors) titled Erotic Solitude. Hope to see more sketches and art from Chiara in the future, that's for sure!
Finally, we've got a new sequence (lifted from the TGC Forum) by Infinity Sign called First Person POV. It was something of an experiment by Infinity, responding to a thread discussing the challenges of creating a transformation sequence (or comic) from first person point-of-view. I liked Infinity's renderings enough to put them into their own little gallery, and if you haven't seen them before, I think you'll like them too.
One off-site thing I wanted to plug. The Continentals is a new webcomic (only slightly TG) by Darryl Hughes and Monique MacNaughton. Love Monique's art, and Darryl's story looks intriguing as well. I'm going to be visiting their site regularly to read updates, and I'll bet a lot of you will as well.
Whew. That's quite an update, wouldn't you say?
August 30, 2009
Today's a big day for me, because I'm finally posting the last seventeen panels of The Hot Date. I can't believe it's taken me two years to finish what was essentially an exercise to prove to myself I could finish a comic, but the calendar doesn't lie.
I know some people will be annoyed with the ending, but in my mind, it's meant to be something of a horror story (with a veneer of romance). Does that make sense?
In any case, doing the comic has been a lot of fun for me (other than the frustrating delays in terms of working on it). Perhaps I'll do an occasional single pic showing later developments in Kylie's life. She is fun to draw, that's for sure!
I hope I'll be able to produce the next comic I tackle in a timelier fashion. It's hard to run this website, deal with real life, and do my own art and writing on top of that, so I know better than to promise anything, but I'll do my best!
I also want to give another quick plug our sister site, TGCaps. In the past few days, Lovely Lorna Samuels has posted a second set of her new modified Mish Mash riffs, Rollickin' Rachael Beck has posted a new strip of her ongoing TG melodrama, Julia James, as well as one of her new, always hilarious TG Strips. Rachael's been posting pretty much every Friday, so it would be great if folks could give her some feedback on her work. I also recommend that people who post modified caps on the Forum here post them to the TGCaps Forum instead. Or post them in both places for maximum attention! How about that? It would be great to get to turn the TGCaps Forum into a livelier place of discussion for modified things TG!

You never know when Jin-hyun and the gang are going to show up! Sizzkun was able to deliver his translation of Episode 48 of Girl In My Dream right on the heels of Episode 47, so we've got another quick update today.
Episode 48 doesn't have the shocks of the last few episodes, but perhaps it's good for us to be able to catch out breath and ponder where things go from here. Jin-young certainly remains tortured by his amorous feelings toward his transformed best buddy. Poor Jin-young!

I always enjoy the updates when I get the chance to add a new artist to the site, and this is one of those times.
Some of you may have seen Seer Coltz's work in various spots around the web a few years ago. He started working in 3D art and making m2f transformations. He's mostly been away from the online TG scene since that time, but has now returned and has started making full-blown 3D comics.
Incompatible is Seer Coltz's first effort, and it's a nice start, a 91-panel comic with a spunky, humorous tone. It tells the story of Sean, a heartbroken man who can't seem to get over the fact that Jen, his girlfriend, dumped him for another guy. To help him move on, his friend buys Sean a magic potion from a certain store in the mall, a potion that will give Sean greater understanding of Jen's point-of-view... if he drinks it, that is.
I hope you'll welcome Seer Coltz to TGComics and give him some feedback about Incompatible on the Forum (in the form of praise or constructive criticism). Let's encourage him to make more comics!
I also want to give a quick plug today to a new category of modified panels on the TGCaps site that Lovely Lorna Samuels has created. She's calling her new modified riffs Mish Mash, since the images are from a variety of sources. They're great fun! Please leave Lorna some feedback on the TGCaps Forum (which is just getting off the ground) if you have the time!

Today we've got another awesome episode of Girl In My Dream! Episode 47 of Sizzkun's and Burntwitch's epic manhwa is the steamiest yet. Is Jin-young trying to help his transformed friend, or is he simply a cad? Who will end up in control of Ji-hoon's altered body; Yuna, Ji-hoon or Ji-hyun? So many questions, and only six chapters to go before we reach the end (or perhaps a long hiatus, depending on Burntwitch's willingness and ability to continue drawing episodes based on Sizzkun's original novel). Either way, the episodes we will get to read in the coming weeks are going to be something, for sure!
You may notice that, on the cover page of Episode 47, it says "R18 version." What this means is that we're posting the unedited episode here on TGComics, while Sizzkun will post a slightly sanitized version on his deviantART account.

Thanks for all the support about the recent death of my uncle. It always means a lot, to have people take the time to say something caring when one's emotions are raw. Such small gestures of kindness can really make a difference. I appreciate all those who expressed sympathy and support on the Forum or via email. It makes me feel that we really do have our own little community going here!
Today's update is the final (fourth) chapter of CBlack's Narcissus' Twin. It's a hefty ninety-six panel chapter, and I think it's an extremely satisfying climax to the tale. CBlack delivers more sensationally sexy images, gives TJ a satisfying send-off, and leaves us hungering for more, which is, I think, always the sign of a good story.
CBlack has mentioned to me that he might do some sort of sequel to this story someday. I'm certain that, once people finish reading the complete Narcissus' Twin, many will be clamoring for it!
I hope you'll take the time to thank CBlack on the Forum for all his hard work. The quality of his images seem to improve with each comic, and I, for one, enjoy the strong sensual element he successfully incorporates into every tale he creates.
One quick plug. It's already been mentioned on the Forum, but I urge everyone to check out comos182's recent movie mash-up, The Wife. It combines two mainstream Hollywood flicks to create one unique and amusing TG tale.

I'm rushing to get this update posted before I head out of town for a few days. As I've mentioned here and there on the site, my uncle passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago, so I'm catching a bus down to Philadelphia for his memorial service. I'll be gone a few days, so after today, there probably won't be any new updates until the end of next week.
I apologize for the problems accessing the site in the last twenty-four hours. I'm still not exactly sure what the problem has been. I won't be able fix anything from the road, so things will probably remain somewhat screwed up until I get back. Cross your fingers!!!
The good news is that today's update is a doozy! We've got the Chapter 3 of CBlack's Narcissus' Twin. This one's ninety-six sinfully sweet pages. TJ seems to be getting totally girl-ified. Is there any hope he can ever regain his bulk and muscles? Does he even want to anymore? Savor each panel of this delicious chapter, and then stay tuned for Chapter 4, the earth-shaking climax to the story!
We've also got Episode 46 of Sizzkun's and Burntwitch's epic manhwa, Girl In my Dream. The past few episodes have been shocking, and this one continues to dole out surprising twists. Yuna finally has her chance to be with Jin-young, but things don't turn out exactly the way she planned! This is the steamiest epi ever for GIMD, and Burntwitch's art is definitely up to the task. Some exquisite, tender renderings from his talented pencil. Some great pacing of panels and pages. And, of course, another cliff-hanger ending!
That's it. I'll be back in roughly a week!

Tonight is another full moon, and that means a new chapter of the Werewif! The fifteenth chapter also brings a new writer to the tale. Let's give a warm welcome to Ellen Schuler, who's replacing Michael Wakcher on the comic.
As some of you who read the TGC Forum already know, Gwydhar likes to work in person with her collaborator on this comic, and when Michael relocated to Los Angeles, she needed to find someone new. And that person is Ellen!
I think she's off to a great start. We get a nice glimpse inside Lindsay's troubled head in this chapter, setting the table for some more interesting developments in the coming months, I'm sure.
We're also starting our Sixth Caption Contest today. It's a nifty image that involves Santa (Christmas in August!). The artist this time around is Chiara, from the team that created the recently posted (and very well received) comic, Sunday in the Park with Peri. Chiara's collaborator, Varian Milagro, has promised to caption all the entries, just as Jenny Tgirl did for her caption contest awhile back. So what more incentive do you need to write some TG captions?
Also wanted to mention, when you view the image, those figures that look something like boy scouts are actually eagle scout leader trainees, and we all know that you have to be nineteen to qualify for that position! In other words, please don't post any captions involving scenarios with characters under the age of eighteen! If you do so, they will be promptly deleted!

The slightly delayed, much anticipated, ambitious, audacious Chapter 9 of Mask of Venus is here! Fifty-three dramatic pages! This mostly psychological chapter focuses on Allen's internal struggle as he deals emotionally with his relationship with Jon, Christine, and what has happened to him. He has a major melt-down and is on a real manic-depressive roller coaster ride! (And for those missing the action of previous installments, don't worry, the centerpiece of Chapter 10 will be a major gun battle!)
Thanks to Commotion22 for all his hard work making the characters in this series come to life. I love the great expression on Allen/Christine's face in the last twenty-plus pages of this chapter.
And thanks, as always, to Geoffrey Kidd! Geoffrey works tirelessly behind the scenes at TGC; proofing, copy-editing, and being a general eagle-eye to help make most of the comics that appear on this site shine. With Geoffrey's help, we recall how to spell words like "marrow" and "gatling", remember that two parents with blue eyes can't (or almost never) have a brown-eyed child, as well as countless other saves. Not every comic on the site receives Geoffrey's pre-publication perusal, but those that do certainly benefit from it!
[Please Note: the eye color reference in this post has been corrected. When I first wrote this entry, I screwed up and had it backwards, just as I did when I originally wrote about eye color in The Hot Date (which Geoffrey, thankfully, corrected for me before publication!)]

The updates keep rolling along! Today we've got Episode 45 of Sizzkun's and Burntwitch's awesome manhwa, Girl In My Dream. We're definitely heading for a big climax, now that Yuna is in control of Ji-hyun's body. This epi is another good one, with terrific pacing and style. It'll definitely leave you eagerly anticipating Episode 46.
I also wanted to give a quick plug to Anne Oni Mouse's Blog. She's been posting some terrific captions that use 3D images she created in Daz Studio to tell some nifty little stories. She's working on some full-blown comics, and I am definitely looking forward to seeing them.

For today's update, we've got Chapter 2 of CBlack's Narcissus' Twin. Don't want to give any of the fun away, other than to say that I think CBlack is at the top of his game, and I love the playful tone of this tale.
I know many of you were expecting to see Chapter 9 of Mask of Venus today, but it's going through a last round of tweaking, and should be posted sometime in the next few days.
Finally, this blog page was getting rather long (and cumbersome to load for those of you with slow connections), so the last few months of my ramblings and the corresponding images have been moved to the blog archive (links to the blog archive can always be found at the bottom of the thumbnail list on the left).
Peace,
