The good news is we're posting Chapter 2.6 of Mako's Touched by the Hand of God today. The bad news is that this is the last chapter Mako completed before he got crazy-busy working on his new, feature-length film, Paradox Alice. So it's definitely the last chapter we'll get to see until Fall 2010 (at the earliest).
The other good news is that TBTHOG remains on Mako's list of upcoming projects, so I'm sure he'll return to working on this epic comic at some point. Maybe the rest of us should concentrate on figuring out a way to clone the guy so he can be twice as productive as he already is (and that's saying something because the present incarnation of Mako is pretty darn prolific!).
There's some fun stuff, as well as some intriguing twists in this chapter. It'll definitely leave you hungering for more, although it's definitely not as bad as the last time Mako went on hiatus with the comic, leaving the teeth of a giant dragon perched in front of Dave for a number of years!
Good luck on the film (and all your other endeavors), Mako. Can't wait to see Paradox Alice when it's completed.

It's a full moon tonight, well, more or less. It's another of those nights where the full moon is officially in the wee hours of Monday, July 26th, so some places list the full moon as tonight, others list it as Monday night. I'm going with tonight!
In any case, with the full moon comes Chapter 27 of Gwydhar and Ellen Schuler's The Werewif. Linus and Morgan begin their conversation about why she did what she did (that is, bit him and turned him into a girl every full moon). Morgan is cagey with her answers. Will Linus have to use the gun he's been given in order to get some answers?
Another well-paced chapter with lovely layouts by Gwydhar. Enjoy!

Happy Father's Day!!!
Wait, what? Oh yeah... my brain is like swiss cheese sometimes. I was saving a special Brownsville bonus pic Tebra did awhile back for Father's Day, but then, when mid-June rolled around, I totally forgot to post it. Doh!!!
To make amends, this wonderful bonus pic is available to Premium Comics purchasers of either Brownsville or Tebra's 100. In the Brownsville section, you can also read an Italian version of the text (thanks, Devtek!). And in Tebra's 100, you can also download a high-res version of the pic.
For fans of Karen Brown, you'll notice she has a more realistic look in the picture (on the right) than she did in the comic. But either way, I think Karen is totally gorgeous. I love her as a character and love the comic. I'm crossing my fingers that some day in the future Tebra will be able to complete issue two of Brownsville.
Since this is a day where I'm catching up on things I forgot about, I also wanted to mention that Varian Milagro, author of Sunday in the Park with Peri, has put together a multi-paneled version of the comic that can be seen on his deviantArt page. I think Varian did a truly great job laying the comic out in this fashion, He went beyond simply pasting multiple panels onto one page, that's for sure. Fans of this comic should be sure to take a look at this alt version. Perhaps I should post it here on TGC as well!

My pal Devtek is back in action translating some of our fine comics into his native tongue -- Italian! We've got five new fumetti for those who prefer perusing comics in la lingua italiana. Here's what Devtek has to say:
"Ciao a tutti."
Here's the English translation: "Day after day, I'm extremely proud of being part of 'tgcomics.com' as a contributor. The quality of the work is very high, and I'm happy to give a little help to Femur and all the others artists.
"My goal is translate all the comics, unfortunately my job does not leave me much free time.
"I hope that in the forum, there may be a section about the Italian translations. The feedback is very important. I know that many italians are regular readers of 'tgcomics.com', so, don't be shy! Tell us your opinions.
"Ciao a tutti!"
For the record, this time around, Devtek has translated Ian S' Empathy, both issues of Infinity Sign's Complex Eve, Seer Coltz's The Ex, and Varian Milagro and Chiara's Sunday in the Park with Peri.
We've made are some cosmetic improvements as well. I've redone all the tabs for comics that can be found in various languages so they're the same style as the tabs that were first used on the site when we published Tebra's 100. It might not mean much to anyone else, but it's a change I've been itching to do for awhile now. I like these tabs so much better! They're cleaner looking. They make it easier to go back and forth between two translations of a comic and compare the different versions of a page.
Hey, now you can use TGComics to learn Italian, Spanish and Portuguese!
Please note that, because of all the style changes, you may need to reload some pages in your web browser in order to view them properly.

Today I wanted to give a plug to a novel I read recently. The Misadventures of Ka-Ron the Knight is by Donald Allen Kirch, and it tells the story of a knight who gets turned into a woman by a witch. The basic premise will surely interest people here, but it's certainly not the only thing that makes this novel a compelling read.
Don Kirch is someone who knows how to tell a story. Ka-Ron is filled with swashbuckling adventures featuring, witches, elves, dwarves, vampires, flying vessels, and dragons, among other things. I'm not a big reader of fantasy novels, but this novel kept me turning the pages until the very end. The author knows how to create memorable, nuanced characters while keeping the story moving from one rollicking adventure to the next.
This is a novel filled with humor. Bawdy sex. Pregnancy. Birth. Death. Love. Hate. Ka-Ron learns to deal with her new body. The new feelings that accompany her new body. And the aspects of the spell that alter her behavior. She still longs to be a knight, but she now has other longing as well.
There are strong TG aspects to this novel throughout, but that's not why I'm plugging it here. The TG twist drew me into the story, but Don Kirch's ability to create memorable scenes, characters, and compelling storylines are what seduced me.
I think many of you will enjoy reading Ka-Ron the Knight. To that end, Don Kirch has let me put up the first 42 pages of the novel, so you can get the flavor of the writing and the story.
If you're interested in purchasing the novel, you can buy ebooks (PDF versions) from Amazon and Fictionwise, or you can buy a paperback version from Lulu.
Finally, a book trailer for the novel can be seen on YouTube.
You can find out more information about Donald Allen Kirch, and learn about some of his other (non-TG) novels on his webpage.

I'm happy to post a new work from a contributor we haven't heard from in some time. PJ Wright produced some gorgeous 3D art a few years back, and now he returns with a simple nine-panel story-pic called Surprise!.
For those who know PJ and his interest in a certain sub-genre of transformation, they'll probably guess what this is about, but I won't say anything more so as not to spoil it for those who aren't familiar with PJ's stories.
I wasn't quite sure what category to put this under, so in addition to being on PJ's Artist page, it can also be found on the Story Pic page.
Also, I found on my hard drive an old NuGen pic PJ did a few years back that somehow never got posted here, so it's been added to PJ Wright's portfolio.
Hopefully we'll see more work from this talented 3D artist soon.
Finally, I want to give another quick plug to TGTony. He's put up the second part of his epic wordless comic, Best Friends Forever, on his deviantArt page. As I believe I said before, there's something uniquely delightful in TGTony's work, and this new chapter is among his best efforts. The best news of all is that the story is not over, so we can all look forward to Chapter 3!
Enjoy!

We're back with the fourth and final republication of illustrated stories that CBlack wrote before he found a home at TGComics.
Virtually Busted tells the story of Jerry. He's a total geek (as well as a computer genius), but the girl he's been chatting with online, Cindy, has no clue. That's because, with the new VR environment Jerry has developed, he can alter his body and make himself into a cyberstud, so she need never know the truth. And, what the heck, Cindy's rather homely... why not turn her into a total babe while he's at it? Surely she won't mind!
Hmmmm... I think many of us can guess some of the twists this story might take. Why not take a look and see if you're right?
One of the real treats with this story is that CBlack has created new images to illustrate it. There are ten gorgeous jpegs and one animated SWF file. So even if you've read this story before, you haven't seen it with the new pics! And, as with all our new stories, you have the choice of either reading it online or downloading it in PDF form.
Enjoy!

It's time to present another great chapter of a great comic. Today we're posting Chapter 4 of Commotion22's Mask of Venus 2: The Ares Gambit. This chapter is called At the Heights of Olympus, and one of the great pleasures of this chapter is that we get to see a new side of Allen. She goes undercover as Angela Greene, a writer from Confederation People magazine.
I have to say, Allen looks great in a little black dress. She takes Bill Cates' breath away on page 17 (and mine as well), and I'll wager she might just have the same effect on you!
I love the way Commotion22's comic alternates between big, exciting moments and small, intimate ones. It's one of the things that makes the story so compelling.
Enjoy!

Sorry for the lack of recent updates. One of the projects I've been meaning to do for some time now is update the TGC Forum (on both TGComics and TGCaps). It's a project that I thought would take me a day or two, but ended up taking more than a week! Many of you will look at the Forum and wonder what took so long, since it has the exact same look and feel as before. But, trust me, there's a lot of moving parts here, trying to get everything to work together on two sites without breaking something (which I did numerous times!).
A major new feature is that users can now create their own list of Favorite topics, a list of your own choosing that appears on its own page. It's a nifty feature if you're only interested in following a few threads and don't feel like clicking around to find 'em all. And you can delete a Topic from your Favorites anytime you decide you've had enough of that thread! You can read more about Favorites here!
Another new feature is the Forum now has the ability to embed YouTube videos. This is a nice little feature -- but please don't go crazy posting videos. Let's try to stick to the ones that are at least tangentially TG-related. And let's avoid political and/or religious videos. Things can get heated enough on the Forum without adding videos to the mix! You can read more about embedding YouTube videos here.
The last major new feature is the ability to add Spoilers -- so you can post comments about the ending of a comic, story, movie or whatever, and allow the user to choose whether or not to they want to see that bit of information. We try to keep things simple around here, so our Spoilers are done in a somewhat primitive way (no javascript involved). But the main thing is it works (at least I hope it does!). You can find out more information about Spoilers here.
There are a few other little tweaks. For instance, you can now add a Bulleted List to a message (not sure if anyone will want to do that, but it's there if you need it!). And I've also taken the time to create instructions for doing just about anything I could think of on the Forum. I've noticed that some folks have trouble doing things like properly posting links, so hopefully this set of instructions will answer many people's questions. You can see the full set of instructions here.
One more thing, the Role Playing section of the Forum has a new link. It's an uglier URL, for sure, but it'll make updates easier going forward, because now I only have to update things twice (on TGComics and TGCaps) versus three times (on TGComics, TGCaps and Role Playing). If you've bookmarked the old URL for Role Playing, there's a little script that will take you to the new one. Please update your bookmarks!
I'm sure with the beating I've given the code that there will be a few (I hope it's only a few) glitches here and there. Let me know if you see anything funky! And we'll be back to our regularly scheduled updates soon!

We're celebrating the USA's birthday (a day early) with a splendid seven-panel sequence by Smooch. Born on the Fourth of July is another transformation featuring that malleable little fellow, Mr. Fugley (who was previously seen in The Cosplay Contest and Finding the Right Look). Qmac2 has commissioned all of the Mr. Fugley sequences, so let's light a firecracker or two to honor Qmac2 and Smooch. These two fine fellows have agreed to allow TGComics to be the exclusive home for this sequence, so this is the only place you'll find it on the web. Thanks, guys!
And if the last panel doesn't make you melt a little (or is that quiver?), then you're made of sterner stuff than me!
I wanted to mention a couple of manga that I've read recently on MangaFox. Nyotai-Ka tells the story of a 24-year-old salaryman who wakes up as a busty woman. It's somewhat explicit, so be warned about that. Thanks to ccmariecc for plugging it on the TGC Forum!
The second manga is Sekainohate de Aimashou. The general plot of the story is that a boy saves a man from outer space and the man then turns the boy into a girl by using an alien potion and tries to force her to be his wife. There are some great moments in this, such as when the two return to earth and explain to the boy's father about what's happened to the boy during the past week. Be warned that there is a kinky angle to this story involving one of the characters (won't say which one) that might bother some people, so steer clear if you think that sounds like you. I don't want people to get the wrong idea. Mostly, this manga's played for laughs and is quite original and interesting.

Yesterday I mentioned that Tebra is having a holiday sale regarding art on the site, and I thought I'd repeat the information one more time. Almost all of her pieces that have been posted here (the pieces that haven't been sold) are available at half-price ($15). Email if you're interested.
Today we're posting an update to Tebra's 100. For those who have somehow missed it, Tebra's 100 is a Premium Portfolio of Tebra's work (it costs $8.00). It will eventually contain 100 pieces of original art by Tebra. We're putting up five new pieces today, which brings the portolio's present total to 37.
It's another splended batch of work from the Queen of TG Comics. Under the General category, we've got the storypics FemBombs and Living in Syn. Under the Otherverse category, we've got the storypics Hypno-Sis (along with a short text story) and Teen Witch. Finally, under the TG Fiction Classix category, we've got a tribute piece to Raven's classic work of TG Fiction, In the Flesh.
I love Tebra's art, but I also love her clever stories and endlessly inventive ways of telling tales where guys get turned into gals. Thanks to everyone who has the means and willingness to support this talented artist by purchasing her Premium Portfolio, Tebra's 100.
June 29, 2010
Hey, everyone. Tebra wanted me to let everyone know that she's having an original art sale for most all of her art that's posted here on TGComics. You can buy any of the original art for her pieces in Tebra's 100 for a measly sale price of $15 (the regular price is $30)! Email if you're interested. Please note that the original art for Red Pythia has been sold.
You can also buy much of Tebra's art that's posted on her artists page (storypics for The Otherverse, Wonder World, TG Fiction Classix, Hyperverse, and Miscellany, among others) for the same sale price. I'm not sure exactly what's still available here, so please email with any inquiries.
Also wanted to say that Tebra sometimes takes commissions, so if you've got a hankering for the Queen of TG Comics to render something you've been dying to see, send her a query.
Thanks for listening! Hope some of you will take advantage of this splendid offer.

It's a full moon tonight, and so this week ends with Chapter 26 of Gwydhar and Ellen Schuler's The Werewif. The Werewives have given Linus a way to free himself from the curse of changing into a female each full moon, but it also means doing something dark and disturbing. Will Linus go through with it?
Gwydhar says on her blog that she's going to wrap up the Werewif in six more episodes, so the story is definitely coming to a head! I, for one, will be sorry to see the last of Linus and Lindsay come December 2010!
Also wanted to mention that Gwydhar is debuting her new film, Mattress World, in Chicago this evening. So if you live in or near the City of Big Shoulders, be sure to check it out. You can see more details here.
One more quick plug -- if you haven't already perused her caption blog, I recommend you take a look at Samantha de Savory's TGirl Captions. I'm a sucker for TG captions (and especially caption series) with some visual pizzazz, and Samantha's got that to spare. The lady has created some very stylish and unique caps!
June 24, 2010
Another day, another update. We're reaching the end of this furious flurry of uploads. We'll wrap it up on Saturday, when there's a full moon, and then take a deep breath.
Today's update is another "bonus" comic by Infinity Sign. The Cure for Jealousy is one of Infinity's Shorts. I believe the idea was that these comics were meant to be shorter than Infinity's usual comics. Quicker to produce. No sequels. That's it.
If that's the case, it's hard to imagine The Cure for Jealousy being a comic that involves shortcuts or settling of any kind. The page and panel compositions are dynamic, the figures in the images striking, and the lighting bold and evocative. Process fans will be pleased to know that The Cure for Jealousy shows a nice, slow transition.
The concept for the story is by Amber Smithe, so thanks, Amber, for inspiring Infinity. It's a simple story, one that will be familiar to many TG fiction and comics readers. But I, for one, never mind reading stories that are familiar, as long as they're also well-executed. And I definitely think that's the case here with The Cure for Jealousy. It rocks!
One quick plug courtesy, once again, of the TGC Forum. Joannamyria has directed us to a great (and real!) TG comic from the 1950s. I Went to My Own Funeral is an awesome, six-page comic that originally appeared in Strange Suspense Stories #16 in 1954. The art is by the late Dick Giordano (a familiar name to many comic fans). It's basically a crime comic with a dose of science fiction thrown in. Pappy's Golden Age Comic Blogzine is the site that revived this twisted gem. A true combination of originality, cliches and outlandish plotting! What a hoot!!!
And, that's not all. Pappy's also got another page with two TG sci-fi gems. TG comics from the 1950s... gotta love 'em!
June 23, 2010
Smooch has created his longest sequence to date in The Cosplay Contest. It's not that longer means better or anything, it's simply that Smooch draws so well, the panels he does, the more of his art we get to enjoy!
The Cosplay Contest features Mr. Fugly, a malleable little guy who, in this sequence, changes into a variety of video game characters! Mr. Fugly first made an appearance in Finding the Right Look, and he'll be back in another sequence in the very near future.
Special thanks to Qmac2, who commissioned the sequence, allowing us all the chance to enjoy this prodigious effort by Smooch. I'm not terribly familiar with cosplay or videogame characters, but I don't think you need to be in order to enjoy this series of inventive transformations. I know I've said it before, but Smooch's attention to detail and humorous touches are truly delightful!
Fans of Smooch's work may also enjoy Never Daydream on the Job, a wonderfully rendered set of penciled drawings by Cluedog. This piece won't appear on TGComics since it features copyrighted characters, but boy, oh boy, I love the poses and expressions depicted in the six figures in the sequence.
Sweet!
June 21, 2010
Today's update is Chapter 2.5 of Mako's Touched by the Hand of God. It's another good one. That mysterious priest is still wandering about, and somebody is totally messing with Erika's head!
There's one more chapter in the hopper after this, and then we'll have to cross our fingers and hope that Mako can wrap up his movie shoot ahead of schedule or somehow finds some extra hours so he can make some more TBTHOG for us. It's one addictive comic, that's for sure!
Couple of quick plugs: Our sister site, TGCaps, has been pretty darn quiet of late, but the last posting is an impressive one. Jezzi Stewart has just posted her 900th Vaingirls cover. That's an amazing number of modified covers to have produced (I burnt out on making covers long before that). The most amazing thing is that I think Jezzi's covers have gotten better and better. Her recapping skills have improved, and she's lost none of her spunky sense of humor. And, best of all, she's still going strong. I'm sure she'll hit 1,000 before too long!
The other plug is for an artist that Taigan just mentioned today on the TGC Forum. Taigan informed us that TGTony has come out with a new series, Best Friends Forever, on his DeviantArt page (download the zip file to see the 160 page comic!). I had never stumbled across this page before, so it's a thrill to find somebody doing something unique and fun involving comics and TG. I'm sure TGTony's work will interest many of you who aren't familiar with it.
June 20, 2010
Sorry for the lack of recent updates. I almost always feel like I'm behind in terms of getting different things ready to be posted to the site, but since I got back from my trip, even though I had a laptop with me while I was gone, I find myself WAY behind on everything TGC-related.
Sorry to the contributors who have been patiently waiting for their works to appear. Sorry the faithful visitors and members who make this a special place to be on the web.
I'm going to try to get as many things as I can up in the next few days, because I have another busy stretch of real life starting on Saturday that will keep me occupied for roughly four or five days.
In any case, enough whining from me. I'm very proud and excited today to be posting Chapter 3 of Commotion22's Mask of Venus 2: The Ares Gambit. This chapter is called On the Edge of the Abyss, and when you read it, I'm sure you'll agree that it's an apt title.
I'm really loving this second part of Commotion22's epic comic (perhaps even more than the first). The psychological battle going on inside Allen's head is endlessly fascinating (at least to me!). It's strong TG stuff and also an extremely well-told story. I commend Commotion22 for the interesting and original ways he manages to depict Allen's state of mind. I think the picture he created above-right to announce Chapter 3 on this blog is an excellent example of this!
If you love this chapter, which I think you will, you're also going to love Chapters 4 and 5. Stay tuned!
June 12, 2010
Infinity Sign is back with the second in his series of short "bonus" comics (the ones we're gathering here under the moniker Infinity's Shorts). There will ultimately be three or four of these comics posted here (I'm hoping for four!).
Today we've got Mother Nature. Dread wrote the story concept that inspired this comic. Mother Nature tells the tale of a group of workers whose job it it is to level a beautiful old forest. Anderson, one of the workers, feels like cutting down all these old-growth trees is something of a crime, but what can he do about it? A job's a job, and it's not like these trees can do anything to protect themselves... can they?
Infinity once again shows off his tremendous visual sense in creating an original character who could fit into the pantheon of green comic book superheroines (or is she a supervillainess?) such as Poison Ivy or the She-Hulk. Yowza!
I also wanted to mention that one of my favorite captioneers, Donniegee, is back in business with a new site and a new style of captions. His caption blog is called Donniegee's Captions). Donnie's health isn't the greatest, but he says he'll do his best to continue cranking out new caps if he gets enough followers. So if you're a fan of Donniegee's past work, you might want to think about signing up.

I'm still on the road, but I've managed to cobble together enough time to get FrankenNerd posted for sale on Lulu.com. Folks who want to use Paypal, folks who can't get our credit card processor (CCBill) to work for them, or folks who simply prefer buying from Lulu now have the option to purchase CBlack's latest masterwork from there.
Please note that because Lulu.com charges an added fee for every ebook they sell (on top of the cut they already take), it'll cost you significantly more to buy FrankenNerd from Lulu ($12.00) than it does if you buy it on TGComics ($10.00). I do apologize for this and hope to come up with other payment solutions in the future. Unfortunately, reliable places that handle adult(ish) material are few and far between.
Also, as usual, if you decide to buy FrankenNerd from Lulu.com, you can be granted access to view and download the comic here on the site as well. Simply email a request containing your TGC User Name, your Lulu Order Number, and the Special Thank You Code (which you'll receive in the "Thank You" email from me via lulu.com) to .
Thanks again to CBlack for creating this terrific comic. Thanks to everyone who's already bought the comic. Thanks to those who have been patiently waiting for it to be available on Lulu.com. And thanks to those who have absolutely no interest in buying this (or any other) comics but tolerate me blathering on about premium material on this blog!

Jenny Tgirl has created four lovely drawings that are tributes to some of the lovely t-girls out there.
I've always loved Jenny's artwork and am glad she's found some time to draw again. These pieces were done in Manga Studio (software I often use as well and think is aces). Jenny's graphic design is one of her many strengths -- I love seeing the way she mixes words in behind the pictures. And I love seeing her work in color. She's got a great palette, for sure.
Just wanted to mention, so there's no confusion, Jenny used photo-references for these pieces. As I said at the top, they're loving tributes to some lovely t-girls.
Please be warned that some of the drawings are sexually explicit, so if you don't want to see that sort of thing, don't click on the link!
Thanks for sharing your art with us, Jen!

Fans of Infinity Sign are aware that he's recently created a series of short "bonus" comics while traveling (and lacking the time to work on longer pieces). Fans submitted story ideas, Infinity picked his favorites, and he then produced a series of short (and sometimes not-so-short) comics.
He's been putting each of these comics up for a short period on his own site, with the rule that only folks who make a small donation receive download access. Now the time has come when Infinity is generously allowing these comics to be released to the general public.
We're starting off with the first one, a 28-page comic called Experimental Machine. It's a fairly simple story of a man who volunteers to undergo an experimental treatment. All he has to do is stand there and let the machine do all the work. Sounds simple enough...
I love Infinity's graphic sense. I love the fact that he's constantly exploring the parameters of 3D art programs like Poser. Experimental Machine barely looks like it was done in such a program (at least to my eye). I love the flat colors and bold compositions, and think many of you will too.
Here at TGComics, we're putting Infinity's "bonus" comics up under the title of Infinity's Shorts. You can always navigate there from either Infinity's Artist page or the general Comics page.
We'll have the second "bonus" comic up in the next week or two. Stay tuned for Mother Nature!

This site went down for a few hours last night due to a MySQL server problem (and TGCaps as well), but everything now appears to be back up and running.
May 29, 2010
Chapter 4 of FrankenNerd (86 panels) has been posted to the site. FrankenNerd is CBlack's latest Premium offering for TGComics. Access to the comic is available to all TGC Members for $10.00.
This is the final chapter of the comic, so there is now a PDF of the complete FrankenNerd available for download (in addition to PDFs of each separate chapter, zip files of each separate chapter, and online galleries of each separate chapter). In other words, there are many different ways to view Premium content on TGComics!
I'll be curious to read reactions to the ending. I personally found it satisfying (and loved the final twist). I won't say more than that so as not to spoil the fun for readers.
I'm posting this from the road, and it seems like I'm able to do everything I need to update the site (whew!), so there'll be regular updates in the coming days (though probably fewer than normal).
In any case, thanks to CBlack for producing another beautiful, fun, sexy comic. Thanks to everyone who has purchased FrankenNerd and supported TGComics. Thanks to those waiting to buy it on Lulu for your patience (I'll try to get it up while I'm on the road if I can). It's an honor to be able to post work of this caliber. CBlack is one of the contributors that makes this little site of ours so special (IMHO!).
May 27, 2010
It's a full moon tonight, and that brings Chapter 25 of Gwydhar and Ellen Schuler's The Werewif to TGComics. Linus gets to know the werewives a little better, and learns that there might, just might, be a possibility that he could be cured of his condition.
Will Linus go through with it, or is the price too high? Stay turned for the full moon in June 2010 to find out!
As I've mentioned in a couple places, I'm heading out on the road tomorrow, and will be gone until mid-June. Because I now have a laptop, I'll be doing some updates from the road, the first of which will be the fourth and final chapter of FrankenNerd. I'd hoped to get FrankenNerd wrapped up before I left, but life proved to be a little too hectic for that to happen, so it'll be up sometime this weekend.
May 25, 2010
Been itching to get Chapter 2 of Mask of Venus 2 up for a little while now, but had so many other things to post that it's been tough to find the right day, the perfect time where Mask of Venus 2 could shine for awhile at the top of the blog, because it deserves a prominent spot.
Mask of Venus 2 is not going to get top billing for as long as I'd like (since I need to get a few more things up before I head out on my trip), but I couldn't wait another day before sharing Commotion22's wonderful work with you.
This second chapter of MoV is titled Approaching the Gate of Hades, and it's the chapter many of you have been waiting for, in that Allen/Christine is beginning to deal with the fact that his/her body is now completely female, and that means some things were true about Allen's old sexuality may no longer be true for Allen/Christine.
Mask of Venus 2 has an emotional resonance due to all of Commotion22's hard work weaving a complex story together that is filled with complicated characters. He's been setting the stage for many upcoming developments since Book 1, and we, the readers, now get to reap the benefits, rooting for Allen/Christine and the others in their various struggles.
And while character development is an important aspect of MoV, the comic is definitely not a turgid soap opera. The storyline takes big steps forward with each chapter. This one's certainly got some pop to it. All I'll say is beware of rusty old relics!
Thanks, Commotion22, for creating an engrossing world and intriguing characters. I'm glad you got a new computer recently, so MoV is less painful for you to make since you no longer have to wait an inordinate amount of time for an image to render in your 3D program). Your comic is a pleasure to read!

Chapter 3 of FrankenNerd (87 panels) has been posted to the site. For those who missed it, FrankenNerd is CBlack's latest Premium offering. Access to the comic is available to all TGC Members for $10.00. There's one more chapter after this, and that'll be up in the next few days.
All's fair in love and war, and Chapter 3 involves some wicked twists in the escalating battle between Earl and Simon... or should I say, Eve. More backdoor passwords are used (and re-used!). Tensions and libidos rise. New characters are introduced, and some complex code is closer to being cracked. CBlack has mixed up a delicious stew of fun, sex, betrayal, revenge and mad science in FrankenNerd.
Thanks to everyone who has already bought access to FrankenNerd. The overall reception has been terrific and I truly appreciate the willingness some folks have when it comes to buying premium material and supporting the site. If you want to find out more information about this comic before buying, please read the FrankenNerd Preview Page or take a look at the first chapter for free.
Finally, as another reminder, FrankenNerd will be up for sale on Lulu in mid-June. For those who have wanted to buy the comic but had trouble using CCBill (or want to use Paypal instead of a credit card), please hang in there! And for those or you who aren't in a position or have no inclination to purchase any premium material, there's still plenty of free material in the pipeline, so please hang in there as well!

A small update to Tebra's 100 today. Just one new piece has been added to the portfolio, but it's a good one. The Song of Red Pythia is the combination of image and story (Story Pics, I like to call 'em) that Tebra does so well.
Not only do you get to enjoy a glorious piece of art, but you get a nifty story as well, one that tells the tale of Red Pythia. It's a solid, well told little story, one that is interesting, original, complete, complex, and a wee bit horrifying.
It amazes me how many original TG characters Tebra creates. I wish many of these scenarios (story pics) were available to us as full-blown comics, but I'm grateful for what I can get, and in this case it means enjoying a single picture of Red Pythia and learning her origin.
As a reminder, Red Pythia is only available to those who have purchased access to Tebra's 100 on the site. It's available for $8.00, and will eventually contain 100 original pieces of art (along with some bang-up stories) by Tebra. There are presently 32 pieces available. You can buy it anytime you'd like on your TGC Membership page. And you can find out more details about Tebra's 100 before you buy here.
We'll be back tomorrow with Chapter Three of FrankenNerd. Mask of Venus 2 will be up after that. And the full moon is coming. Chapter Four of FrankenNerd is coming. More Touched by the Hand of God is coming. Other stuff is coming. It's hard to keep up -- which is, I think, a great problem to have. Far better than the alternative (hardly any material to post).

Smooch is back with one of his best sequences ever. Double D Dragon is an extended M2F transformation, the kind Smooch does better than just about anyone around. And as these sequences go, Double D Dragon is particularly pleasing, I think, because it's got originality, humor, drama and sensuality packed into 27 magnificent panels.
I don't want to spoil what happens, but I think it's a wonderfully imaginative sequence from start to finish. The impish dragon Smooch has drawn is a wonderfully realized cartoon character. Wouldn't mind seeing more of that little fellow. He's bursting with personality (and does a splendid job transforming our hero into a fetching heroine!).
Let's also give thanks and credit to Thrandrall, who conceived and commissioned the work. He's the fellow who also conceived and commissioned the wonderful Dr. Phigbert, so he's obviously a guy with a tremendous creative streak (and he knows how to come up with scenarios that inspire Smooch!).
Work like this makes me so darn happy. It's a true thrill and honor to have it on the site and be able to host it for so many folks who I know will appreciate it too. Thanks Smooch. Thanks Thrandrall!

Mako's hard at work on his next movie, but he has managed to complete a few more chapters of Touched by the Hand of God. We'll be getting 2.5 and 2.6 up over the next few weeks.
Today, we're posting Chapter 2.4. It's something of a transitional chapter, bridging the awesome origin of Erika, which was revealed in the last few chapters, and what's to come.
David has frankly had enough of Eric/Erika, Boomer, and Luna. He wants to go back to the bookstore and the life he led before he met any of them. And after what he's been through during the previous twenty-four hours, can you really blame him?
Thanks again to Mako for the many hours he puts into creating enjoyable, ambitious TG stories and images for us. He's a tremendously talented guy, don't you think?

I'm very excited to announce that we've got a new Premium Comic for sale today from the most popular artist on the site. FrankenNerd is CBlack's latest creation. It's 334 panels of the kind of twisted fun that CBlack writes and renders so well. We're posting the first two chapters to start (the first is available as a preview), and then a chapter a week for the next two weeks until all four chapters have been posted.
FrankenNerd tells the story of Simon Lawrence and Earl Levitz, two very bright guys at very different stages of life. Simon has already made a fortune with his previous scientific inventions, while Earl is a poor graduate student, just struggling to get by. Earl is assisting Simon with his latest experiments. Simon has the awesome ambition to create adult clones from human embryos, and that's just to start. Simon believes he can instantaneously manipulate the clone's chromosomes and physical attributes through mere thought! Just a few more secret experiments in his basement to get the bugs out of the prototype, and they can go public with their findings. Surely nothing can go wrong with Simon's audacious plan to turn the prototype into a gorgeous, blonde centerfold, can it?
You can preview Chapter 1 (94 panels) of FrankenNerd right now, before you buy, to see what happens from there! All I'll say in this little description is that Simon and Earl become locked in an ever-escalating struggle that ultimately involves sex, manipulation, sex, betrayal, sex and murder. FrankenNerd is a dark, funny, rollicking tale that contains a nifty series of twists and turns, and while you may guess some of them, I'm betting you probably won't guess them all.
Please note that FrankenNerd is something of a science fiction/horror story. So there's absolutely no confusion about this, the science that is used to create a beautiful woman in the story does not presently exist. And for those of you who want to know certain details about a story before you buy, let me tell you that FrankenNerd does contains nudity and a number of sex scenes. However, please be aware that, as with much of CBlack's recent work, the story is sensual and sexual without containing hardcore sexual depictions. As usual, CBlack does a magnificent job rendering sexy women. Those who prefer blondes are in for a real treat! Eve is perhaps CBlack's most glorious creation to date.
We're charging a few dollars less for FrankenNerd ($10.00) than we have for CBlack's other new, Premium Comics on the site. We're doing this because it's a somewhat shorter story. I'd also like to add that, as I've said before, CBlack's graphics get better and better with every comic he creates. FrankenNerd is, I think, his best looking effort yet. If you don't believe me, see for yourself in the Chapter 1 Preview.
As usual, what you are buying when you purchase FrankenNerd is lifetime access to a gallery containing the comic. The gallery works exactly the same as all the public galleries on TGComics, so you can download the files and keep them on your own computer whenever you'd like. Remember, you need to be a TGC member to buy comics (or participate in the TGC Forum). If you're not already a member, there's no reason not to create a New TGC Membership. Joining TGC is absolutely free. You're not obligated to buy anything ever.
I also wanted to mention that, since I'll be going on a trip immediately after the last chapter has been posted, we're going to hold off posting the comic to Lulu.com until after I return (on or around June 15th), so those of you who prefer Lulu because you have problems using CCBill, our credit card processor, prefer using Paypal, or just like Lulu better will have to be a little patient before you can purchase the comic. Sorry about that!
I've discussed most of what's covered on the FrankenNerd Preview page, but there are a few more details there you may want to peruse before you make any final decisions about purchasing. I do hope you'll consider buying the comic. FrankenNerd is a fun and sexy work by one of the TG comic genre's very best!

We've got a special treat for you today. Infinity Sign has released to TGComics one of the comics that has previously only been offered for sale on his own site. Infinity is doing this with all of his premium offerings, selling them on his site, and then, after a year or so, releasing them for free. It's a nifty business concept, and perhaps we'll try doing it with a comic or two here at some point.
Best of Friends tells the story of Tony and his best buddy, Leo. Tony has a crush on a girl in his conjuring class, but he's afraid to make a move. If Elisha doesn't feel the same way he does, it might destroy their friendship. If only there were some other, safer way to find out if she's interested!
Leo can't stand the way Tony is being so passive. Maybe, with a simple little spell, Leo can help clear things up for his pal. Or maybe not. "Don't do anything stupid" does happen to be Leo's middle name, after all.
This is a simple story that unfolds nicely over 73 multi-paneled pages. Infinity's distinctive imagery and assured storytelling are well displayed in Best of Friends. Please be warned that there are a number of pages that contain explicit sexual situations, so if you don't enjoy viewing graphic depictions of sex, do not read this comic!
I've never asked Infinity, but I'm wondering if this story was at all inspired by my own comic, The Hot Date. Maybe he can give us the answer on the TGC Forum. Either way, Best of Friends is a skillful work that many TGC visitors are sure to enjoy!

We've got a double dose of Smooch today. This talented artist is always prolific, and luckily for us, a number of the folks who have commissioned work from him in recent days have requested TG Sequences.
First up is an 11-panel sequence commissioned by Venom31245 that we're calling Babe-barian 2. That's the title, though it's definitely not a sequel to the first Babe-barian (they both just happen to be sequences featuring barbarians, that's all). Anyway, Babe-barian 2 features a testosterone-ridden barbarian who gets the upper hand on Hera, the wife of Zeus, and she decides to get one last act of revenge, changing him into a girly goddess to replace those female members of the pantheon he's slain. Love those middle stages that Smooch draws so well.
Next up is The Ring, a 19-panel sequence commissioned by Apokol. Instead of giving you a brief description, I'll repeat the riff on the old Green Lantern oath that GrimGhost recently wrote in anticipation of this sequence:
In blackest night,
In brightest morn,
Give me a bod
Designed for porn.
I'm sure many TGC members would be out scouring various beaches around the world if we thought we'd have a shot at finding a ring like that! Thanks, GrimGhost (and be sure to check out his modified Green Lantern covers on the TGCaps Forum). Thanks, commissioners. And thanks to Smooch, most of all, for sharing your beautiful art with us. It's always such a pleasure to view!

Today's the day for Chapter 1 of Mask of Venus 2. This chapter is titled The Janus Operations, and it's filled with many exciting, action-packed sequences.
It's another chapter that does not feature the characters from the first Mask of Venus (though some of them are on the periphery of the action). If you're tearing your hair out waiting to see what's up with Allen/Christine, have no fear. She'll return (with a bang!) in Chapter 2.
I greatly admire Commotion22's storytelling abilities and pacing. Love the transformation sequence on pages 11 and 12, for instance. And I can't wait to see where this story is going. Nobody combines action/adventure and TG the way Commotion22 does!
Also, for MoV completists out there, pages 12, 13 and 14 from the prologue have been updated. Adjustments were made to the German text on those pages.
One quick plug: for those who enjoy TG manga, Mia Chan has been kind enough to report that TaBsiCore's excellent TG Manga and Anime Blog is back (and apparently has been back for some time, unbeknownst to me!). There's a whole bunch of translated TG manga and such posted here. Be warned that much of it (all of it?) is of a sexually explicit nature, so if you don't want to see that sort of thing, steer clear!
More updates soon. I've been super-busy over the past week or so (I have a ton of non-TG related work to finish before I go on a trip at the end of May), but will try to get as many updates as I can posted before I go (and will continue doing updates from the road while I'm traveling).
Oh yeah. One more thing. The links page has some updates.

Tebra's 100 gets its first update today since it's gone live with six new pieces from Terra's talented hand. There are four pieces in the General section, starting with Action Stax, which tells the story of a meek librarian who gets transformed into a busty superhero (so don't forget to return those overdue library books, okay?). There are a couple of pieces involving race as well as gender changes, and a lovely tale of how a guy named Kris who lives at the north pole becomes a gorgeous gal named Sandi Klause.
Tebra's also done illustrations for two TG Fiction Classix. Adam and Yvette (which you can see on the right, minus the text) is inspired by a TG tale by Sharonna, and Turnabout, which is among the loveliest pieces of art that Tebra has ever produced, is inspired by the classic novel by Thorne Smith.
As a reminder, there are high-res versions of every pic in Tebra's 100 so you can enjoy the glorious, intricate details of Tebra's work!
And, for those who have no interest in purchasing Tebra's 100 or don't have the means to purchase it, we've got a free piece of Tebra art. Check out Golden Gloves latest transformation in Tebra's Hyperverse.
Finally today, for people who enjoy the Werewif, Gwydhar's hand-drawn art, or hand-drawn art in general, I recommend you check out Gwydhar's special Werewif vlog, which shows her drawing a lovely Werewif sketch from start to finish. Gwydhar will give the original drawing created in the video to the 25th person who posts a comment on this blog entry (there are 5 comments as of this writing). How's that for a deal?
April 30, 2010
Everything should now be working okay on the site. You may have to log out and log in again. Sorry for the hiccups!!!
April 29, 2010
Having some technical difficulties with MySQL. Will try to get them cleared up asap.
April 28, 2010
A nice pair of updates today. First off is Smooch's new sequence, The Babe-barian. Smooch gives us a double transformation this time around in sixteen beautiful panels. There are many little details in the drawings that make Smooch's work so much fun (be sure to watch that tattoo!). And, as you may have guessed, it features a muscle-bound barbarian and a comely sorceress (or perhaps she's a slave girl?). In any case, it's a wonderful sequence that's open to a bit of interpretation as to what exactly is going on, and that's definitely part of the fun.
I love Smooch's sequences!
Next up is, as some of you have already figured, the 24th chapter of the Werewif. Ellen Schuler has written another fast-paced chapter, and Gwydhar has kept her record intact of drawing twelve new panels for each full moon for over two years running (just under the wire this month!). A most impressive feat!
This month's Werewif is an intriguing one. Linus meets a room full of werewifs, and Brian gets to see a transformation with his own eyes. As usual, twelve panels doesn't seem like enough, and I can't wait to see what happens on the next full moon in May!
Thanks, Smooch, Gwydhar and Ellen!

Another exciting day here at TGComics. It's time for Mask of Venus 2: The Ares Gambit. This is Commotion22's second book in what will most likely be a four of five book series.
For those who don't recall, the first Mask of Venus is a sci-fi tale set in the 23rd century, at a time when war has broken out between the Strellings and humankind. Allen Ward is the sole survivor (more or less) of the Strelling's initial attack. The thing is, when he awakens after the battle, he finds himself occupying the body of Christine, the woman he (secretly) loves. The woman married to his best friend.
The TG aspect of the story is only one part of this breatktaking tale. Mask of Venus was Commotion22's initial effort making a 3D comic, and it's a most impressive debut. For those who haven't read it, or simply want to revisit the story, there is now a PDF of the complete comic available for download. Just go to the Mask of Venus page and click on "Download PDF" (at the top of the page list on the left). Be warned, the file is a whopping 65+MB.
But enough about Mask of Venus. We're here to talk about Mask of Venus 2: The Ares Gambit! The Prologue has been posted. It's 22 action-packed pages in Commotion22's patented style. There's a great transformation and some intriguing plot twists and characters. Nonetheless, once they read it, many people familiar with the story may be scratching their heads. World War II? 23rd-century Earth? WTF? Where's Christine? What about the Strello-Human War? All I can say is, don't worry. The characters you know from the first book will return. So relax, sit back, and enjoy the beginning of another wild ride!
Thanks for all your hard work, Commotion22! Looking forward to the coming chapters of Mask of Venus 2!
April 20, 2010
Just a quick note to say the script that manages memberships and the premium content on the site has been updated. Members shouldn't see any real differences, other than that your membership page now has some tabs to view the different areas.
April 19, 2010
The next chapter of Touched by the Hand of God is here! Chapter 2.3 concludes the story of the origin of Eric/Erika, and as I mentioned before, in contains some truly great storytelling by Mako. Terrific pacing, page compositions and colors (love that green!).
As most folks know by now, Mako is diving into work on his new film for the next few months, but nonetheless, he hopes to finish Chapter 2 in his copious amounts of spare time. :)
They won't be coming every week, but the good news is that we'll have at least a few more updates to TBTHOG in the coming weeks and months.
A quick plug for our sister site, TGCaps. There have been some very nice covers and panels lately. Jezzi Stewart's last few batches of Vaingirls have been particularly good (an astonishing 800+ covers and counting!). Lorna has returned with some fun new panels in both her Toons and Mish Mash categories). And Vinnymonster is back from hiatus with 71 new Witchcraft covers (and a few Cover Mix covers as well). Be sure to check them out!
April 14, 2010
We resume our republishing of CBlack's early fiction today with a gem of a story. Maleable tells the tale of one very special undercover agent. The nanites embedded in Brian McComb's body give him the ability to change into any other human being, thereby making him one of the most valuable spies on the planet. The only catch is, he has no control over the changes. He is entirely at the mercy of the nanites and those who program them.
Maleable is a dark steamy, dark tale of spies and double-crosses. In addition to sixteen illustrations, there are two animated Flash files (SWF). Once again, the images are the originals from a few years back (though the one SWF file is slightly different), but the whole thing's been redesigned for publication here by yours truly. And, as we're trying to do with most if not all of our illustrated stories going forward, it's available for perusing online or downloadable as a PDF file.
Want to make another plug. Seems like there's been a lot of great TG material popping up these past few weeks, and the hot streak continues with Experimental Machine, the first of Infinity Sign's new "donation" comics. It's 27 multi-paneled pages and done in a striking, painterly style. You can find out all the details on Infinity's site.
April 9, 2010
Smooch is back with his longest sequence ever! The Duel is a rollicking 41-panel sequence that features a wizard and a witch having a magical smackdown! With all those spells flying back and forth, multiple transformations are bound to ensue!
Smooch has been nice enough to give TGComics exclusive access to this "uncut" version of the sequence. So, even if you've seen this elsewhere on the web over the last few days, you'll see that the added panels give the entire sequence a different (and more sensual) color.
The Duel show off many of Smooch's artistic strengths: terrific transformation sequences (process), a great attention to detail, and the skill to draw voluptuous, eye-catching cleavage (see a perfect example of this directly to the right). And, of course, The Duel displays Smooch's wonderful sense of humor.
Also wanted to say thanks to everyone who has plunked down the eight bucks for Tebra's 100. I'm hoping we'll have an update to the portfolio fairly soon, but please be patient with me (and Tebra).
Other things in the works include more chapters of Touched by the Hand of God, two more "republished" stories by CBlack (one containing new art), a classic TG tale with 44 illustrations done by a new artist, and a few other goodies.
Finally, I feel compelled to once again plug two of my favorite creators of things TG. TG Tales has created another video mash-up on YouTube. If you haven't seen it already, be sure to check out Surrogate Sex Change. And Icolan's got two new comics up on his Who Needs Freehand site. Dolly is the first of a two-parter. It's free. It's fab. And so is Moving On. This second comic is wonderfully paced, well told and well rendered, and you can nab it for the measly price of three bucks.
April 3, 2010
We're putting our newest premium offering up for sale today. It's a little bit different than what we've offered before, in that it's a portfolio of art and not a comic.
The portfolio is by Tebra, the artist I consider to be the Queen of TG Comics (and TGComics.com)!. Frankly, without Tebra, this site would not exist. She is the creator of Heather Reilly, the first TG Comic I ever saw that was of professional quality. She also created Brownsville, our first Premium Comic on this site (and one of my favorite TG comics ever!).
What we've decided to offer here is something we're calling Tebra's 100. It's a portfolio that will contain 100 pieces of Tebra's work. As of today, the portfolio contains 25 pieces of art. Tebra will gradually, over the next year or so, add more pieces until Tebra's 100 contains 100 pieces of original art done by Tebra. TG Art that can't be found anywhere else on the web.
You can find out a few more details on Tebra's 100 Preview page (though I'm repeating much of the information in this blog post), and you can view a Sample of the Portfolio before buying.
Tebra has been creating single pieces of art for years (she often sells them directly on eBay). Some of these pieces are in Tebra's various galleries here on TGComics.com. Tebra's 100 will work along the same lines. The majority of pieces will fit in the General category (which is Tebra exploring various TG subjects and themes). Tebra will also do some pieces from some of her original universes, including the Bimbo Baths, the Hyperverse, the Otherverse, Wonder World, and TG Fiction Classix.
I have to say that I've always loved Tebra's art, and I think she's continually getting better and better. Some of the pieces in Tebra's 100 are truly spectacular. For example, take a look at the rendering of Bambi Dahl on this page. Talk about living, breathing dolls!
Please be clear in understanding that Tebra's 100 will not contain any drawings depicting copyrighted characters (you will not see any depictions of Archie and his friends, nor will you see any DC or Marvel superheroes). The works will contain completely original situations and characters from Tebra's immense imagination. Please note that Tebra will use some of her own characters that she's previously created for some of the pieces, for example, some of the art will feature superheroes from Tebra's Otherverse.
In addition to being a talented artist, Tebra is a talented storyteller, and some of the pieces or art will also have longer pieces of text accompanying the picture that elaborate and enhance the particular story Tebra is telling.
One of the nice things we're offering in Tebra's 100 is high-res versions of each drawing. You can click on any drawing in the portfolio and a high-res jpeg will open in a new window (you can see this feature in action in the Tebra's 100 Sample). We also want to give you options in terms of reading the stories Tebra tells, so we're putting the text for many of the pieces below the image, just in case you find it easier to read that way. Again, check out the Tebra's 100 Sample to see clear examples of these features.
When the portfolio is finally complete, we'll offer a PDF of the 100 pieces that you can download. At that time, it will also go up for sale at lulu.com (for those who have trouble or don't want to use CCBill, the credit card processor for TGComics.com).
You'll also be able to buy any of the original pieces of art seen in the portfolio for $30 apiece. Tebra has a family to support, so I'm hoping some of you support this talented artist by purchasing some of her original pieces. You can find out details about purchasing any of Tebra's art by emailing her at .
We're charging $8.00 for Tebra's 100. That breaks down to 8 cents per drawing, which I think is a fairly reasonable price to pay for work from an artist of Tebra's caliber. Once again, please check out the Tebra's 100 Preview page and the Sample of the Gallery before buying, so you'll know exactly what we're offering for Tebra's 100.
We hope you'll consider buying Tebra's 100. It'll be fun to see the portfolio grow over the next year. I can't wait to see all the spectacular drawings Tebra will be adding (and reading her wonderful TG scenarios) until she's created one hundred pieces! It's going to be a fun ride, for sure!
Peace,
