I think it's high time for a dose of Smooch!
Our princess of the pencil has been churning out drawing after drawing in recent weeks, so we're adding 31 new drawings to Smooch's Portfolio (a magnificent example of which is on the right).
We're also posting two sequences, Narcissus (who do you love?) and Dancing Queen (he will be the belle of the ball!). These two gems aren't as long as some of Smooch's über-transformations, but there are some lovely drawings here, and I'll take any and all the Smooch I can get!
Also today, I want to announce that I've redone the galleries for the three Mask of Venus books. I think I started posting the first one as a single gallery, not quite understanding how large this project was going to be (or how the chapter length would go from the mid-teens to sometimes over 70 pages per chapter!).
It's always bugged me the way these galleries have looked, so I've now set them up with a separate gallery for each chapter of each book, the same way most of the longer comics on the site work. If you go look at the new landing page for each MoV book, you'll see there are now links to each chapter (with the chapter title and a nifty little image from that chapter). This is incredibly boring news to most people, I know, and probably only serves to show off how anal I am, but I couldn't help myself! I swear!
The one thing that I believe will interest some people is that there are now separate, downloadable PDFs for each chapter (as well as the full book PDFs for MoV1 and MoV2, which were there before). The reason this is news is because I usually wait to post the PDF until the entire MoV book is complete, but now, going forward, you will be able to download a PDF of each chapter of Mask of Venus 3 when it's first posted (as well as Mask of Venus 4 and Mask of Venus 5 when they come out).
Okay, I'll shut up about this now and get back to the many, many other things on the site that need doing.

Almost a year to the day after the first part of his comic was posted on TGC, Seer Coltz returns with The Wish - Part 2. In Part 1, Stephen wished that he could understand how the minds of attractive women work, and he ended up becoming the voluptuous Vanessa.
In Part 2, Stephen's roommate Mark discovers the truth about the gorgeous girl in Stephen's bedroom, and they learn that Stephen's wishing power didn't stop with just one.
I think this is probably my favorite of Seer's work to date. It's got good pacing and a good sense of humor. The dialogue is lean and to the point. The images are pleasing (with more gorgeous, naked gals). I certainly enjoyed tearing through the 63 pages. What a hoot!
Part 2 isn't the end of the story, so be prepared! I'm dying to know what will happen to Stephen in Part 3. Seer has set the plot in motion so well, I can't wait to see what happens next... but I guess I'll have to.... and so will you!
Enjoy!

It's always an exciting day when we get to post another chapter of Commotion22's epic saga, Mask of Venus. This time it's Mask of Venus 3, Chapter 8. Agamemnon's Contrition! It's another great chapter in this great series, chock full of terrific scenes and graphics. There's another moving moment with Allen and Christina; Reichert and Collins go on an ambitious rescue trip; Gorshin pitches a fit; and... well, lots of other good stuff that you'll enjoy when you read the new pages.
One of the things that I truly appreciate about Commo's visual storytelling is the way he handles scenes with many characters (the image on the right is an example). From what I understand, this is incredibly difficult to do with 3D programs, but that's not what I'm really talking about. What I mean is the way Commo keeps things clear spatially. People who critique movies talk about how crowd scenes can be confusing when you can't tell who's who, or where they are spatially (some of the fight scenes in the film Gladiator are a good (or is that bad?) example of this). But the sequences in the 70 pages of this chapter of Mask of Venus with multiple characters are always crystal clear. Page 65 is a great example of the way Commo is able to visually control the space and situation (but don't jump ahead and look at that page before reading the first 64 pages or you'll ruin a great dramatic moment!).
There's one more chapter, plus an epilogue, to come in this third book of Mask of Venus, and then there will be more books to come after this one, thank goodness (after Commo takes a well-deserved break, of course)! How many, I'm not quite sure. What I do know is that Commo has plot points mapped out that we only have a glimmer of right now. He's weaving a magnificent quilt of a story, and it sure is fun to watch!

In my haste to post Embracing Yin yesterday (and make GreenDoubleAught an official artist on the site), I totally forgot to put up Green00's Portfolio!
Doh!
Regular visitors to the TGC Forum will have already seen this series of Before-After sketches. Some lucky fellows sent in a photo, and then the mighty, magical pen of GreenDoubleAught showed them what they might look like if they drank a particular magic potion, or if they'd been been born with a second "X" chromosome instead of a "Y". I love GreenDoubleAught's delicate line work. Such lovely sketches!
We're posting ten Before-After pics today. Hopefully, there will be many more.

It's an exciting day today... the resurrection of Embracing Yin, a comic that's been on hiatus for a couple of years now.
GreenDoubleAught has taken over the comic from Fish, the comic's creator. Fish has approved this transfer, and has given GreenDoubleAught the outline for the original story so that, going forward, the comic should have the same flavor and be true to the original concept.
I think GreenDoubleAught has done a remarkable job emulating Fish's style, while adding his own style of color shading to the images.
We're posting pages 22 to 26 today, and we'll continue to post the comic in small batches until, someday, Embracing Yin will be complete.
Some people have inquired about some of the other comics on the site that are presently "on hiatus" - meaning that the original creators have either dropped the comics or disappeared. I want to say that I'm against allowing someone else to pick up an abandoned comic except under circumstances like this one, where the original creator authorizes and approves of the transfer. It would be great to see The Girl Can't Help It or The Reign of Cruella continue someday, but unless Aram or Ix return or expressly permit someone else to continue their comics, it won't happen.
So, thanks to both GreenDoubleAught and Fish for bringing this beloved comic back to life. An amazing resurrection after all this time! I'm truly thrilled to be posting new pages of Embracing Yin today!
One final note on a different topic - thanks to everyone who wrote in expressing their interest in editing, proofreading and/or lettering comics for TGC. The response has been both gratifying and overwhelming. I'm going to attempt to try out different people on different projects in the future, but there are only a few projects ready right now for this type of work, so I've written to everyone who volunteered to be patient. If you're not called upon in the coming days to do some editing or lettering, you'll hopefully be called on in the coming weeks or months. Thanks again!

Today's catch-up features recent work by blackshirtboy. We've updated bsb's Portfolio with four new pieces, including Chat Change, an awesome little two-page comic that was commissioned by k4nt1.
We're also putting up three new sequences by blackshirtboy: Goddess, Now You're Cooking and The Bride. Some color, some black-and-white, all excellent!
I wanted to mention something else today. In order for the site to grow and thrive in a less haphazard way, I'm trying to find some people who might be interested in helping out in terms of getting work ready for publication on the site. One thing I mentioned recently on the Forum, and I'll mention here again, is that I'm looking for letterers, specifically someone with an excellent graphic sense who uses Comic Life 2 on a Mac (I say Mac-only at the moment because from all reports the current PC version of Comic Life 2 is very buggy). If you're interested, you can use the TGC Contact Form to contact me.
I'm also looking for editors, people who have the ability to do advance readings of upcoming comics (and stories) and make suggestions. Critiques of the overall story are fine, but what I'm looking for most of all are people who can write up detailed, specific critiques - pointing out things such as a clunky pieces of dialogue -- and then going beyond that by offering a suggestion on how to make that clunky dialogue better. What to cut. What to change. What's missing from a story.
So if either lettering or editing interests you, let me know by contacting me via the TGC Contact Form. Thanks!

We're catching up with MentalCrash today, posting the three page Mirror's Cycle - Confessions, which MentalCrash says is the last extra for this comic - the definitive end to the story. It's also a departure of sorts because it has dialogue!
We've also taken the opportunity to reorganize the comic, making separate galleries for the Main Comic, the Epilogue, and the Confessions.
We're also posting today MentalCrash's charming sequence (or is it a mini-comic?) called How I Joined the Magical Division. More charming art by this engaging artist from Chile (that's right, MC is from Chile, not Spain as I had previously stated).
Enjoy!
May 1, 2012
Thank goodness it's May. April kicked my butt in terms of (non-TGC) work and busy-ness. I'm behind on emails, behind on updating the website, behind on everything.
In an attempt to begin to catch up, we're kicking May off with a wonderful sequence by Siproites called One Bite of the Apple. I could do my usual raving about Sip's artwork, but I think most everyone knows how much I love the way he draws. One Bite contains fourteen gorgeous panels that I think most everyone who visits the site will enjoy!
I also wanted to mention some things that will be posted on the site in the coming weeks and months. On the Premium side, we've got Quantum Butterfly, CBlack's new comic, as well as comics from Commotion22 and Siproites (their first premium works). We'll also have our first Premium illustrated story for sale, and when I say illustrated, I mean heavily illustrated, with 100 tasty images by SturkWurk.
On the free side, we've got new comics or new chapters of existing comics by Seer Coltz, Keshara, Commotion22 as well as work from a few new artists who will be joining the site. We've got sequences by blackshirtboy, MentalCrash and Siproites. There are a couple of big batches of vignettes by Tebra in the works. And that's just a list off the top of my head. Don't mean to offend anyone I left out!
So... stay tuned... and thanks again for your patience. I think the next few months should be fun!
April 21, 2012
Sorry for the lack of posts. I was busy as heck last week, and it's going to be the same this week, so I'm further behind than ever in terms of getting things prepped and posted on the site. Lots of good stuff in the works, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, I wanted to make a quick post to plug James Ward's new film project, The Hit Girl. If you don't know James' work, he's done the amazingly funny and fast-moving film, Identity Theft, as well as wonderful short series such as Wand of Change (the latest hilarious episode stars Nicki Hunter) and Frenemies. You should, if you haven't already, check out the Three Degrees Off Center website or James' YouTube page to watch a lot of clips. I'm a huge fan of James' work, and really hope The Hit Girl gets made.
Yep, it's another project that's in your hands. James is trying to raise money for the making of this feature-length film on kickstarter.com. The film will be an action/comedy that tells story of Bill, a hit man by trade, who has the misfortune of coming into contact with a magical statue that turns him into a teenage girl. Now renamed Jessica, 'she' scrambles to find a way to reverse her transformation with the aid of her movie-quoting niece, Suzy, while still having to complete her latest hit — a hit that is made that much more difficult now that she stands at 4'11" and weighs under a hundred pounds.
James says he has assembled an AMAZING cast. Some of his YouTube regulars will make an appearance here and there, but he also has a number of professional actors (who have appeared in movies and television) involved in the project as well. The Hit Girl will have a total of thirty actors, plus a large number of extras. James has also lined up an excellent Director of Photography who has 17 years of experience in the business. As James wrote me in an email, "This is really going to raise the production to a whole new level. I'm also really proud of the script. As with Identity Theft, I try to strike a balance between tension and humor, so there should be some good laughs, along with some 'edge of your seat' type moments."
James is trying to raise $5,000 to make the film over the summer, and the clock is ticking. We've got 24 days left to raise $4,850. I'm going to contribute, for sure, because I'm eager to see the film. If you feel the same way, please go to kickstarter.com and give whatever contribution you can. And remember, the way kickstarter projects work is that if the full $5,000 is not raised, you won't end up paying anything, and James will get no money! Let's hope that doesn't happen and we all get to watch The Hit Girl in the near future!

Our new Korean artist, Sakkat, is back with a comic called Bewitching Attraction. This one's a little different from Dokidoki in that it involves some advanced science that allows a comely university teacher to change her gender anytime, anywhere. But, as with Sakkat's first comic, this one basically deals with a sexual encounter (this time between teacher and student).
Once again, Sakkat explores gender boundaries and newfound desires, such as the attraction a guy suddenly feels for a girl with something "extra" between her legs, even though he's never had such yearnings before.
Sakkat's work is sexually explicit. This comic is definitely rated TGC-X (we seem to be having a lot of those lately!).
I hope you enjoy Sakkat's pencils and delicate colors in Bewitching Attraction. I think they're quite pleasing. She's already at work on another comic, so we'll definitely be seeing more from her in the near future.

We're back today with Chapter 2, Unlikely Lucky, of Fool's Jewel, Infinity Sign's April Fools 2012, multi-chaptered offering.
In this chapter, Dale stumbles into a situation that should be a dream come true for him, but that little necklace Dale wears seems intent on pushing him past his previous sexual boundaries.
As Infinity mentions on his own web site, Fool's Jewel was always meant to be a comic that was heavy on the sexual side. He put even more sex than he intended into this chapter, and contemplated releasing it as a bonus chapter and not as part of the actual comic. But, ultimately, he decided to release it as initially planned, as Chapter 2 of the comic.
So, for those who enjoy smutty sexual romps, you'll get a kick out of Unlikely Lucky, for sure. But for those who don't enjoy perusing sexually explicit comics that are heavy on the sex and light on plot, you may want to wait for Chapter 3.
That's something else I wanted to mention. Infinity planned to put out the three chapters of this comic on consecutive Sundays, but there will be a slight delay before we get to see Chapter 3 of Fool's Jewel. Infinity hopes to finish it by the end of the month, so let's cross our fingers and hope that's the case.
Finally, to those who celebrate the holiday of Easter today, I hope you have a good one!

Our latest Premium comic, The Supermodel Transformation Kit, is now available for purchase on Lulu.com (for $8.00), for those who are having trouble using Verotel, our new credit card processor, or want to use Paypal. I'm pretty sure Lulu takes gift cards (which Verotel does not), so, hopefully, those who want to use a gift card to buy the comic will have better luck there.
The version on Lulu.com is slightly edited, which means we had to take out a few drawings from the transformation (and in a few other places) that contain detailed depictions of male and female genitalia. The comic is not sexually explicit, but there is a good deal of nudity, so the Lulu version has been toned down. Also, because Lulu requires that all pages of PDF be the exact same size, we've had to reconfigure the transformation section of the comic (and a few other places as well). This means the Lulu version of the comic is a few pages longer. It now comes in at 43 pages.
If you do decide to buy The Supermodel Transformation Kit from Lulu.com, you can also receive access to the full version comic and the bonus gallery here on the site. Simply email a request containing your TGC User Name, your Lulu Order Number, and the Special Thank You Code (which you'll receive in the "Thank You" email from me via lulu.com) to .
Also, for those reading this blog entry on April 6 before 11:59 PM PST, there's a sale going on right now on Lulu. You can get (I believe) 19% off of this comic or any other comic from TGC via Lulu! So today's the day to buy! Lulu regularly has sales, so I'll try to do a better job of announcing when you can buy TGC comics at a discount there in the future.
If you want more information about The Supermodel Transformation Kit before you buy, please check out the preview page(s). We hope that making the comic available on Lulu.com will make it easier for more folks to buy the comic. Sorry again to those who have had problems using Verotel.

Infinity Sign once again has created a comic to celebrate today's light-hearted holiday. This year's offering is called Fool's Jewel. We're posting Chapter 1 (Rotten Luck) today, and there will be three chapters in total (one per week for the next three weeks).
Fool's Jewel tells the story of Dale, who tries to help out a damsel in distress, and in the process, inherits the curse she's under. And what a curse it is!
This is definitely a TGC-X rated comic, as the cursed necklace Dale now wears seems to be doing it's darndest to get him/her into one steamy sexual situation after another! So please steer clear if you don't enjoy reading this type of smutty comic.
For people who enjoy Infinity's "cleaner" offerings, we're also posting a four-page, multi-paneled TGC-C rated sequence called Out for a Jog. This is one of Infinity's hand-drawn works, and it too has an April Fools' theme. I always enjoy seeing Infinity's pen-and-ink drawings, and hope you do too.
Man, between I'm a Girl Now!, Fool's Jewel and Out for a Jog, that's a ton of new work from one artist! Infinity puts the rest of us to shame in terms of output! Thanks so much for sharing!

Mako and I are happy to announce that PARADOX ALICE will have its Cast & Crew Premiere on April 21st in Hollywood, CA. Fourteen tickets are being given away. If you win a pair, you'll be among the first to see the movie over at Universal Studios, CA.
So if you are serious about coming to Los Angeles on April 21st, you can see the movie, hang out with the cast and crew, movie industry people and meet Mako! All you need to do is fill out a little crossword puzzle (which you can download in jpeg or PDF formats). It's a crazy contest Mako and I have cooked up to give away these special tickets. The puzzle contains questions about some of Mako's films and comics, as well as some stuff here on TGC. Fill out as much of the crossword puzzle as you can, then e-mail your answers back to Mako (). Don't worry if you can't complete the puzzle. I think it's pretty hard myself!
The contest ends on April 4th at 6pm PST. The first seven entries with the most correct answers will win two tickets each to the premiere (if a winner only needs one ticket — let us know so we can give the other ticket to someone else). The winners will need to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Winners will be announced on TGC and Mako will then email you with instructions for attending the premiere. Please do not post answers from the contest on the TGC or any other forum.
PARADOX ALICE does not have an official release date set as the producers are currently talking to distributors. Video recording of the movie is prohibited, and only those on the guest list will be allowed to the premiere.
Pretty cool, eh? If you attend the premiere, you'll get to see the film long before anyone else! And if you're shy about mingling in public, that's fine. Don't worry about it. You can go to the premiere and not talk to anyone if you don't want to. No pressure there!
So, check out the Paradox Alice Opening Crossword Contest page (which basically repeats everything I just said). The best reason to click on the link is you'll get to see the other awesome poster for the film. I won't be at the premiere since I'm on the other coast, but I wish I could be there. I can't wait to see this film!

If you are having trouble viewing STK after purchasing from Verotel, please go to your member page (or simply click on your username on the upper right of any page on the site). Click on the Supermodel Transformation Kit link from there and you should have access. If you still have problems, please log out and log in again, and then everything will definitely be okay. Sorry for the slight hassle!

The Supermodel Transformation Kit ($8.00) is our first Premium comic for 2012. It's a comic that's been in the works for a couple of years. It's our first Premium offering by the ultra-talented artist, Smooch.
The setting for this comic is the near future, and with this comic we're launching a new (closed) "universe" for a series of TG tales (yes, there will be other STK stories in the future). To explain the concept, The Supermodel Transformation Kit is a device sold to the public that allows men and women to become the handsome hunk of hot babe they've always dreamed of being. Sure, it's kind of a drag if you become a "Petra" and the girl across the hall also buys the "Petra" kit and looks like your identical (gorgeous) twin, but who cares as long as you're both totally hot! Right?
I wrote the script for this comic, but the star of the show here is definitely Smooch. He's totally in his element here, working in wonderful little touches (such as the robotic dog) throughout the panels. And what glorious panels they are. Smooch uses pen-and-ink on the majority of the pages, but then switches to pencil in order to render one awesomely detailed, amazing multi-page transformation. Smooch even tweaked some of the dialogue to make it better (and more coherent!).
By my count, the main transformation in the comic is over 70 drawings. And, for the record, it's Smooch's first totally nude transformation, so for those who hunger for process, you got process. Lots and lots of process! It's rated TGC-R, but I think it's really halfway between an R and an M rating. There's no explicit sex, but there is explicit nudity, if that makes sense. Because it's not sexually explicit, STK will also be available for purchase on Lulu very, very soon (though we will probably delete a few of the more graphic panels of the transformation from the Lulu version, just to be safe).
You can read eight preview pages (plus the cover, as seen above), right now, before you buy. The total comic is 36 pages, but it's really longer than that, because some of the pages are taller and contain more panels or drawings than an average comics page. There's also an STK Preview Page for you to peruse if you want more information (though be warned, it repeats a lot of what I'm saying here), and there's even a short second preview page (containing a few spoilers) for those who absolutely need to know more details before they consider purchasing (I recommend you steer clear of that page unless you have a burning need to ruin the comic before reading it!).
It's hard for me to talk much about the story since I wrote it myself. I can talk more about the art, and how Smooch really makes some of the pages sing in terms of composition and sheer drawing power. He's a true, pure talent, and I'm so proud and happy to be able to publish this comic. Have I mentioned that the guy draws like a dream? Confident line work. Great storytelling in terms of character poses and expressions. I'm confident you'll find The Supermodel Transformation Kit to be a satisfying TG comic.
If you do buy the comic, you'll also have access to a high-res version of the comic, so you can drink in every pen stroke of the inked pages and see the graphite line of Smooch's pencil. You can click on any jpeg in the online gallery to open up a high-res version in a new window, or you can also download a high-res PDF or ZIP file. There are also regular-sized PDFs and ZIPs, for those who don't want or need high-res images.
And that's not all. There's also a five page bonus gallery filled with more beautiful drawings that didn't make it into the final comic (with even more process!).
For those who want more Smooch (or who can't or aren't interested in purchasing The Supermodel Transformation Kit), we're posting three wonderful sequences by this master of transformation and process. The first is Drag Queen, a 28-panel sequence to celebrate The Year of the Dragon (and shockingly enough features dragons and sorcery). The second is A Goblin's Day at the Beach, a five-panel sequence depicting a goblin's attempt to blend into the scenery. The third is Baby Got Back (at Ya), a 20-panel sequence which, in addition to depicting perhaps the most bootylicious transformation Smooch has ever rendered, also transports us back to the 1990s. Thanks to Apokol, TheOctopusMan and Thrandrall for commissioning these wonderful sequences! And, to top it all off, we've added thirty new drawings to Smooch's Portfolio, including gorgeous renderings such as Stripped and The Right Side of the Bed. Nobody draws delectable dames like Smooch!
To make this long-winded blog post even longer, I also want to discuss our credit card processor situation. As many of you know, we're moving away from CCBill, the credit card processor we've been using until now, because of their ridiculous censorship policies (such as not being able to even mention the name of an actor or actress on the TGC Forum when discussing a film). We settled on using Zombaio as our new credit card processor, but then ran into a hitch, which is that Zombaio won't allow us to sell anything for less than $9.00. Since we have some shorter comics in the works that we definitely want to sell for less than that (including today's posting of STK), we're going to use Verotel, a second credit card processor, for all transactions under $9.00.
For transactions over $9.00, we'll probably give you the option of using either Zombaio or Verotel, which will make life easier for some folks, since every credit card processor has a different "scrub" list, so a person who gets scrubbed from one list might have success with the other. So, hopefully, between Zombaio and Verotel, more people will be able to buy Premium comics. We're also working on a way to sell Premium content for those who don't have a credit card, and I hope to have some news on that later this year.
So, long story short, you'll be using Verotel as the credit card processor if you want to buy The Supermodel Transformation Kit. For the moment, all the existing Premium comics can still be purchased through CCBill, but we should be changing that in the coming weeks (though there's a chance we might wait to make the full transition until we offer up the next Premium comic after this).
I also wanted to repeat that we manage membership and access to the comics ourselves on the site, so our switching credit card processors won't effect access to the comics you've already purchased or anything else about the site. No worries there!
Since there have been a number of changes recently around here, we've updated the FAQs page for the site, and we'll update it again once Zombaio is implemented and CCBill is totally gone.
Enough rambling! I hope you'll consider purchasing The Supermodel Transformation Kit if you're capable of doing so (I know not everyone is). Thanks to Smooch, for all of his hard work, and for creating one beautiful comic (as well as three beautiful sequences and thirty fantastic portfolio drawings)!

Now that Opposite Effect has finally been completed, Infinity Sign has generously created another ongoing comic that will be hosted exclusively here on TGC.
The comic is called I'm a Girl Now! It's a unique comic because every page is depicted solely from the point-of-view of the protagonist. Our (thus far) nameless hero wakes up in a lab. He's undergoing a procedure, and his body starts to change. Is this something that he requested? Something that's supposed to happen?
We don't know any of these answers yet. We're kicking things off by posting the prologue today, which is 61 single-panel pages (including one SWF animation). And you, the members of TGC, can help determine what some of these answers are. Infinity is going to put up a poll every time he updates, so you can vote to help shape the direction I'm a Girl Now! will take in coming chapters. You can read (and vote) in the first poll here on the TGC Forum.
I'm excited to have a new ongoing comic on the site by the talented and prolific Infinity Sign. I hope you enjoy the beginning pages of I'm a Girl Now! There's definitely more to come!
March 20, 2012
The updates keep on coming! Today's update features one of the best-drawn TG comics I've ever seen. Office Downsizing is a nine-page black-and-white comic by blackshirtboy, and it's an awesome display of his continued growth as an artist.
I am so impressed with this comic! bsb's art keeps getting better and better. I love the varying weight of his lines, the compositions, the way he handles word balloons (and does such great balloon tails).
There's also one awesome transformation in the comic.
It's very exciting to see a talented artist's continued development. It makes me excited to think about what treats bsb might have for us in the coming months. I can't wait to see what he does next!
Peace,
