Infinity Sign returns with a whopping new chunk of his ongoing comic, Opposite Effect. This is a huge update, 134 new panels, more than doubling the length of the comic. We're up to 256 panels in total, and it's still not finished!
Jesse's has to stay awake for as long as possible, otherwise, the feminization his body is undergoing will proceed at a faster pace. If he takes another nap, he could find himself with longer hair, mood swings, and a missing penis... and we certainly wouldn't want that to happen, would we? :)
There's no Flash animation in this update, but there are plenty of nifty twists and turns as Jesse tries to adjust to his changing body, and the different ways his friends and lovers react to his new curves.
Thanks again to Infinity for offering this material exclusively to TGComics, his home-away-from-home on the world wide web. He soldiered on and produced 100+ panels despite his computer crashing 100+ times due to that cranky bit of software known as Poser!

Okay, here we go. After four (or is it five?) years, today I'm proud to announce that TGComics is publishing a brand-new chapter (Chapter 1.7) of Mako's Touched by the Hand of God. To celebrate, I thought I'd publish a little Q&A I recently did with Mako. I'm always interested to learn more about the mind-set of the creative types we publish here on TGComics (as well as learn more about their creative process and influences).
Thanks, Mako!
Femur: What were your main inspirations/influences for TBTHOG?
Mako: I have to go back almost 15 years ago when I first started writing the story. I think the two things that inspired me most at the time was the TV Series, The X-Files and Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles books. I was a huge fan of Interview With The Vampire back before the movie even came out. Looking at it today... I feel TBTHOG seems more inspired by the TV series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Supernatural, than anything else. But the irony is that I didn't watch either of these shows until the last decade, after I had already written the story and characters.
Femur: When you say the story is epic, just how epic are we talking here?
Mako: Well... in my mind... it's epic because there is so much story there. I literally do have a blueprint of a much larger picture that's barely touched on in the comic. I was even going over the main outlines of the story yesterday (so that I make sure each chapter I make doesn't stray too far), and shook my head, asking myself, "How the hell am I ever going to make this?" I feel like I've only made 2% of the entire story in comic form at this point... so it feels a little bit of an overwhelming and daunting task. Originally, I wanted to make this whole story into a trilogy of big budget, Hollywood movies one day. But -- I doubt that will ever happen.
Femur: You've returned to this comic after a hiatus of a couple of years. Has anything changed in terms of 3D production?
Mako: Well -- with just about any form of technology -- you have better looking models. Better functionality in applications, such as POSER (which is what I use to create TBTHOG). I'd say the greatest thing for me, would have to be the time it takes to render a single shot. I currently mapped out how long it takes me just to render a chapter the other day. And now it takes me about 10 hours on average. That is about 6 shots an hour. I remember it taking 1 shot an hour back in 2005. So to go from 60 hours down to 10 hours -- is the biggest leap for someone like myself that has very little time to begin with. That is one of the main reasons why I decided to jump back into it.
Femur: The software has changed immensely during that time. Have you upgraded the models or anything else, or are you working with the original ones?
Mako: I'm still working with the original models for the most part. I can upgrade a few things with them, but not much. I don't want to change their look too much, because of the material I had already created. However, there are a lot of new characters coming up -- so many of them are getting a bit of an upgrade of sorts -- since they had not been revealed yet. I know there are many out there who have had issues with the look of these characters. But at the end of the day -- I wanted to make a comic that was not about creating photo-realistic characters -- but a comic that brought you into a fantastical world -- where the characters, the story, and atmosphere come first. With all due respect -- I didn't want to the comic to look like most other POSER comics out there. I did upgrade POSER though. I had version 5 back in 2005. And now I have version 8.
Femur: What's the most satisfying aspect about working with 3D software to create images?
Mako: I'd say I love being able to create a location -- stage where the characters will be -- and shoot everything as if you were actually on a film set. Because I love movie making -- this workflow of creating images with 3D software -- allows me as a story teller -- to have a more film-making, hands-on approach.
Femur: What's the most frustrating thing?
Mako: Time. I can't emphasize that enough. As I get older, I find I really do have less time to do these kinds of things. So time becomes more valuable to me. But if we're talking about POSER itself -- the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is how inflexible the program can be when wanting to break or add new values to existing models. I've already had a few instances where I needed more functionality in the set than what it offered -- and I couldn't adjust the areas I needed to -- so I had to cheat it.
Femur: Are you reworking any aspects of the story after putting it aside for awhile? Would you have written this the same way if you'd created it today?
Mako: The core story is the same. So that hasn't changed. But I am re-writing some dialogue, and creating some new scenes to help support the story more than I originally thought. In fact -- those people that saw the first 6 chapters back in 2005 -- might have noticed some of the dialogue has changed since then. Some of that comes from that fact that I've gotten older -- experienced more -- and tried to infuse what I think helps define characters a bit better than where I was 5 or 15 years ago.
Femur: In terms of mainstream comics, what are some of your favorites?
Mako: I'm not a big comic book guy at all. My best friend is a nut when it comes to DC and MARVEL comics. He has them all over his apartment, so I figured I'll just read them from time to time. I've always kind of liked Spider-Man and Batman. But I tend to lean more towards the supernatural and less with the superheroes in costumes kind of stuff. I got into comics like Witchblade, DV8 and Tomb Raider back in the 90's. I also became a huge fan of ANIME back in the 90's. And I consider ANIME to be more of a moving comic book style of storytelling than any other medium.
Femur: How about comics creators? Who are you a fan of?
Mako: I was a huge fan of Michael Turner (who passed away two years ago due to cancer). He was born just a month after me, but I loved just about everything he touched. I think it goes without saying that Stan Lee is one of the biggest forces in comics, ever. So without him, a lot of great material would not have been made.
Femur: When you were growing up, what comics influenced you as a kid (assuming you were a comic book reader)? Favorite artists and/or writers when you were young?
Mako: Again, not really a huge comic fan. I grew up on movies like Star Wars, Raiders, Alien, Time Bandits, Gremlins, etc. So I think so many of my inspirations as a storyteller -- really stem back to that time in my life, when these movies were coming out. People like Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott and Terry Gilliam were big influences back then. When you look at these movies -- so much of them relied on visual storytelling. Great camera work, atmosphere, and eye-popping visuals. I'd say that's how I pretty much try and approach my work too, if I can.
Femur: I'm sure there are a number of fans of Mako Pictures reading this (I know I'm one). I've read some posts about a new picture in the works. Any details you'd like to share with us?
Mako: Well... I kind of went into retirement last year and said, "I would only come back if a story intrigued me enough, where I would want to make it." Back in June of last year, I came up with an idea. Pitched it to Jade and Ray (Mako Pictures vets) and they were excited about it. So we decided to, "very slowly", start the pre-production process of seeing if we COULD make it. So 9 months later... we have a solid script... currently called, Paradox Alice. We have several people working on development, from conceptual art to visual effects design, and production.
What I can tell you is that if we can get this sucker made, it will be the most ambitious TF TG project I've ever been involved in. So it's scary and exciting at the same time. All of our other movies took place in a contemporary setting. This helps keep costs way down. But Paradox Alice takes place in the distant future. And it's amazing to watch our costs sky rocket because of it. But the work I've been seeing so far is amazing. I just hope we can pull it off, and actually make the damn thing. The script itself is 81 pages long right now!!! To put that into perspective... The Last Piece Standing, was only about 30 pages. And that is our longest Mako Pictures movie to date (clocking in at almost 40 min).
I really don't want to give too much away about the story, but I will say that a major theme revolves around Science vs Religion. It's been fun dealing with that struggle some people have, and how either side can have all the answers, or just cause more problems. We hold auditions in L.A. for the cast at the end of March. And unlike previous movies where we got a hundred people submitting for roles from various casting agencies... we have thousands this time. It's really crazy. We've got a lot of people to see in a few weeks. So with all that in mind... now would be a good time to give everyone the heads up.... I won't be able to turn around new TBTHOG chapters as fast as I'd like, between April-Oct. That's when the meat of making Paradox Alice will take place. I will try my hardest to keep it going both during production and after... but most of my time will be spent on the movie of course.
Femur: Since you've made many films, I'd love to know what were some of your favorite films from this past decade?
Mako: I really liked Let The Right One In. I felt it was probably one of the best vampire movies ever made, and had a great sense of isolation and atmosphere to it. Plus the two kids were just amazing. Some of my other favs were Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Moulin Rouge, the Bourne movies, Into the Wild, the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Avatar. The first Pirates movie was a lot of fun. I also held a soft spot for Paranormal Activity -- cause of the independent nature of it. I thought such a simple idea was done really well. And I love the genre ;)
Femur: How about all-time? What are some of your all-time favorites?
Mako: I’d say Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite movie of all time. It’s one of the few movies ever made, that mixes every single genre, and does it well. It’s an amazing ride... and to this day... still amazes me as a film maker. Some other of my favorite movies would be things like, Star Wars. Seven Samurai. Jaws. Wizard of Oz. Aliens. To Kill a Mockingbird.
Some of my favorite TF movies would be Ginger Snaps, A Company of Wolves and of course, AWIL.
Femur: Any thoughts on the Oscars? Hurt Locker vs. Avatar?
Mako: I felt the Oscars were a bit boring to be honest. Glad to see Jeff Bridges finally win. (Love him in White Squall). I wasn’t a fan of Hurt Locker. I think the win was of a political one, more than anything else. I felt other movies on the list were better, and more original (even if they didn’t want to vote for a Sci-Fi movie). My friends and family were shocked that Avatar didn’t win. But I told them this... at the end of the day... the Academy is made up of Hollywood Industry people. Many of whom I work with. And many of them loathe Cameron.

We're continuing today with a couple recent themes on the site, and those are: illustrated stories and resurrecting material from the old Siren Song website.
For those who don't know, CBlack (along with Mako and Daniel-San) was a mainstay of Siren Song, and he posted a number of illustrated stories there. The first of these we're reprinting here is Masterful Deceptions, which tells the tale of a chatroom imposter who is forced to assume the lifestyle of his on-line persona.
Masterful Deceptions has nine illustrations, and we've redesigned the layout of the text and pictures. As we'll be doing with most all of our illustrated stories going forward, you have the choice of reading an online version or downloading a formatted PDF file.
We'll redesign and resurrect more CBlack stories in the coming weeks. Since the illustrations were created a number of years ago, the graphics are not up to CBlack's current standards, but they're still pretty darn good.
Finally, I want to make a quick plug for Dr. Otto's videos. He's animated some art he's commissioned from various artists over the past few years. I think the videos are highly satisfying; the voices, music and panel transitions are all well done. You can find the links to watch Demona Reborn and Corsets & Con Artistes on Dr. Otto's DailyMotion page.
March 3, 2010
A day later than usual, but we've got Chapter 1.6 of Mako's Touched by the Hand of God. This is the last chapter that was previously posted on the web. Those of you reading the comic for the first time will have sympathy for those who have have been waiting for years for the cliffhanger that ends this chapter to be resolved. Rest assured, 1.7 is coming soon!
Also, thanks to GuyB, zeemerman2 and others who took the time to discuss font legibility on the TGC Forum, I've "fixed" some of Tebra's Story Pics. Basically, I'm sticking with ComicSansMS for that "comic-booky" feel (it's the only choice in terms of fonts that most people have on their computers), but the stories will no longer be all uppercase fonts, so they're much more legible (at least I hope you'll think so!). This affects the February 28th post of Detention Queen and 4Score, as well as Tebra's Otherverse. If you haven't read these story pics before, you might want to give them another try. They're definitely easier on the eyes! (FYI - you might have to hit "reload" on your browser to see the revised font style.)
One final thing. Feedback. Please! I'm asking for it for every artist on this site, but, mostly, right now, for our sister site, TGCaps. I know we're all busy, and not everyone likes everything that's posted, but if you do, please take the time to write a little feedback. I fear we're at the point on TGCaps where we'll be losing some creative talent if they don't get more support. After posting steadily for many months, Lorna Samuels is on hiatus, partly due to lack of feedback. Seuzz has been posting his head off all year, but I doubt he'll keep it up without a little more love (and if you can't find one cover worth commenting on in his latest Another Life to Lead posting, I'll be shocked!). Imelda Marcuse has pulled down some of her snazzy graphics on the TGCaps Forum (I'm betting the fact that nobody gave her any feedback has something to do with it!).
If you have any time at all, please, please, please send these (and other) creators some praise and/or constructive criticism. Thanks!!!

I'm happy to post some new work today by Tebra (the Queen of TG Comics!). It's been far too long!
4Score is a seven-panel Story Pic that tells the tale of two collaborators and rivals, one an entrepreneur and the other a scientist. Both end up female due to a freakish lab accident. One uses this as an opportunity to become the leader of a team of superheroes (4Score), while the other becomes a super-villainess.
Also up is a Story Pic called Detention Queen. A teacher becomes a student. A man turns into a girl. Be sure to read the story below the drawing for all the juicy details!
If' you're reading this on February 28th, you have the opportunity to buy any (or all) of Tebra's original art from 4Score or Dentention Queen. Go to her eBay site and bid now! The auctions end today around 4:30pm eastern time in the U.S.
I should also explain the Story Pic category on the site, since we haven't posted anything new there in awhile. Basically, in my mind, Story Pics are those combination of words and images that fall in between a comic and an illustrated story. They don't primarily use word balloons like a comic and don't have enough text to call them stories. Does that make sense? I suppose I should add, just to complicate things further, they can also be story concepts, for tales that will probably never be completely told (like Smooch's Harry, Venus Hunter).
You may have realized that tonight is a full moon, so we've also got twelve new panels (Chapter 22) of Gwydhar's Werewif. Linus is trying to deal with the reality of his altered life, but others aren't taking it so well!
I also urge people to check out a new video that's been posted to Gwydhar's blog that shows how she inks a page of the Werewif. It's fun to see her fill in all those rich swatches of black she uses on a page, and even more fun to see her in front of the camera. And there's some pretty hilarious music to boot!
February 23, 2010
Back from my trip and things went well. It's already Tuesday, so it's time for another chapter of Mako's Touched by the Hand of God. We're already up to Chapter 1.5 (just one more Chapter before we start posting new pages). Please be warned that there is some explicit sexual content in this chapter that is not of a consensual nature, so steer clear if you don't want to see depictions of such things. Rest assured that it is not in any way gratuitous. The actions shown here are definitely part of Mako's epic storyline.
I have to make one quick plug for one of my favorite TG places on the web, and that's TGtales' Youtube Page. He's posted two new ones in recent days. Boys Will Be Girls is another excellent piece of work, up to TGtales' usual high mash-up standards. Hitler Discovers TG Tales Are Fake is something of a departure, a truly mind-bending piece of black humor. It's both self-referential and hilarious! What a hoot!
February 18, 2010
I'm thrilled to be posting today a wonderful illustrated story that's never been seen anywhere before on the web. Perfect Secretary is by a relatively new TG author, Alyssa Angel. It's a short story that tells the tale of Jessica, who constantly complains about what a loser her boss is, especially since his girlfriend dumped him. Jessica wishes she could find, "A perfect secretary, a sexy young thing who could take his mind off his broken heart." Little does Jessica know that her father will be he one transformed to fulfill her wish.
One of the great things about this story is that it's told from a different point of view than many TG tales. Perfect Secretary is narrated by Jesscia's boyfriend, and it's tremendous fun to see him struggling with the fact that his girlfriend's father is now more attractive than his girlfriend!
I should have mentioned long before now that Smooch is the illustrator of the story. A few of these illustrations have been posted previously on the web, but most of them will be new to readers, and all are enjoyable. They definitely enhance and enrich Alyssa Angel's tale. This site's about the marriage of words and images, after all.
I should also mention that this story is available to read online or download as a PDF. The PDF version has a different design than the online version (I personally prefer the look and feel of the PDF). We're going to try to do this for most all of our Illustrated Stories going forward, that is, offer both online and PDF versions of the works.
The Illustrated Stories section of the site has been quiet for many months, but that's about to change. In addition to Perfect Secretary, we'll soon have up a classic TG tale by a new author to the site (with a set of never-before-seen illustrations). We'll be posting some of CBlack's earlier illustrated stories that are no longer available on the web (and reformatted them TGComics-style). We've got a few other Illustrated Stories in the works as well, so I think the Winter/Spring of 2010 will be an excellent time for the (and Stories) section of the site!
In addition to the story version, we're also putting up (as a sequence) the transformation that Jessica's father undergoes as he morphs from father to sexy young hottie. We named it The Crystal, since that's the object that does the magical work. It's another truly great set of illustrations by Smooch, showing the various stages of man into woman!
Finally, I wanted to mention that I'm going on a little trip. I'll be away from Friday, February 19th until Tuesday, February 23rd. If you buy a Premium Comic from Lulu.com during that time and want to gain access on the site for that comic, you'll have to be patient with me and wait until I'm back. The same goes for everthing else on the site. I won't be able to do much of anything from the road during this trip.
Enjoy Perfect Secretary, and be good while I'm away!
February 16, 2010
Tuesday has become TBTHOG day (and will, most likely, continue to be for the next few weeks). Today we're posting Chapter 1.4 of Mako's Touched by the Hand of God. The wildness begins with a type of transformation that's rarely seen on this site, but is popular elsewhere on he web. Mako's story crackles with style and energy. TBTHOG definitely has a unique look and voice. I'm glad people are enjoying it!
I want to give a quick plug to Joe SixPack (and his manly TG site!). Joe has created his first photo-comic, and it's a good one. Fans of this under-utilized genre are sure to enjoy Waste Into Energy. It's 59 pages of TG fun!
February 14, 2010
CBlack's Are You Ready To Rock is now available on Lulu.com for everyone who has trouble purchasing directly on TGComics.com with our credit card processor, CCBill, or simply prefers using Paypal. Thanks for your patience! Lulu.com has, unfortunately, added a fee we're required to pay on every purchase, so the price we're asking you to cough up there is $13.25. Sorry about that! We're looking into alternatives to Lulu for our Premium Comics going forward. Not sure if there is a good one, but we'll see.
As usual, if you buy from Lulu and want to have access to the Are You Ready To Rock Gallery on the site, simply send an email to . The email should contain your TGC User Name, the Lulu Order Number, and the Special Thank You Code (which you'll receive in a "Thank You" email from lulu.com).
Also today, we're posting a very nice sequence that CBlack has created at the request of a few folks on the Forum, eight exquisite images showing Ready To Rock's Brian in various stages of transformation as he becomes a Rock Star.
Last, but not least, is a terrific seven panel sequence by Smooch. A female-to-male sequence (something that's extremely rare on this site, but certainly not unwelcome!). Please enjoy Wash That Man!
February 13, 2010
The finale of CBlack's Are You Ready To Rock is up on the site for everyone who has purchased our newest Premium Comic. Chapter 7 is 156 panels, and there is definitely a final set of twists and turns in the story of Brian and Bree. As usual, I don't want to reveal too many story details, but I'm hoping that when people finish reading this chapter, they'll be satisfied with this story and its ending. I know I was!
There's a new PDF version of the entire comic available for those who want to download and view the entire comic in one file. This same file will be available for sale on Lulu.com tomorrow. Just to be clear, the images in the PDFs are the exact same size as the jpegs. We're only offering one size (940 x 710 pixels) for this comic.
Thanks again to everyone who wrote some lyrics in our song contest for this comic. Thanks to CBlack for producing yet another awesome, sexy and imaginative TG comic. Thanks to everyone who has bought, or even considered buying the comic and supporting the site. It's been a wild ride this last year, and I'm grateful that so many people have stuck with TGComics despite the occasional hiccups we experienced while adding a pay element to the site. I'm hoping you'll stick around for the upcoming Premium Work that will be available in the next few months (by Tebra and Siproites), as well as some nifty free work that's in the pipeline.
And I, for one, can't wait to see what CBlack cooks up for us next!
February 11, 2010
We're putting the WORLD into world wide web once again today, with postings of three of our comics that have been translated into Italian by the hard-working Devtek. As you may recall, Devtek does both the translation and captions to create an Italian version of a comic, and he's doing a bang-up job. I'm particularly fond of La Scimmia di Marmo (The Marble Monkey). It's great seeing Jenny Tgirl's comic in Italian, and Devtek selected a font that suits the comic perfectly, IMHO. Devtek has also translated and captioned CBlack's Second Chance and Jenny Stipple's Novaderm, two of our finest offerings, to be sure. If you'd like to check out all the comics offered up in Italian, go to the Fumetti Gratis page.
And that's not all. Guigolo is now doing the same thing in Portuguese that Devtek has been doing in Italian, and that is translating and captioning some of our great comics into other languages (in this case, Portuguese!). Guigolo has started with Siproites' Uma Garota Precisa (All a Girl Needs, which is now available in FOUR languages!). He's also done Jenny Stipple's Festival, CBlack's Cara di Pizza (Pizza Dude), and Varian Milagro and Chiara's Domingo No Parque Com A Peri (Sunday in the Park with Peri). You can peruse all these Portuguese offerings on the Gibis Grátis page.
Thanks to Devtek and Guigolo for opening the site up a little more to Italian and Portuguese fans of comics that contain storylines and images involving things TG. It makes me feel like this little community of ours is ever-expanding. I truly appreciate it, guys!!!
February 9, 2010
It's time for Chapter 1.3 of Mako's Touched by the Hand of God. The stage is now set for the scariness that takes place on Redemption Hill, and the wild action that will lead up to the cliff-hanger ending of Chapter 1.6 (coming in a few short weeks, to be followed by the new Chapter 1.7). Glad everyone seems to be enjoying seeing Mako's work on TGComics. It's a pleasure to host it!
Also wanted to mention that I'm going to be away from February 19-22nd. Want to get a number of things posted before I go -- from the final chapter of Are You Ready to Rock (and getting it up on Lulu), to a new illustrated story, to some more comics that have been kindly translated into other languages. I wish I could work faster on getting stuff finalized and published. Thanks, as always, for your patience with me!
February 6, 2010
Chapter 6 of Are You Ready To Rock (134 panels) is up on the site for everyone who has purchased our newest Premium Comic. It's the finals of the song contest, and Bree has to perform four different songs with four different guitarists (in four stunning outfits). Bree embraces different aspects of her feminine side as she pours her heart and soul into the four songs she performs. And we also get to learn the identity of the person who sabotaged Brian's guitar. Did anyone guess who the culprit was?
I've also created a poll on the Forum, so you can vote for which of the four outfits Bree performs in is your favorite. Unfortunately, you can only vote for one :)
I'm also going to sound like a broken record by plugging TGCaps for the third post in a row. I have to do this, because Seuzz continues to post like a maniac over at our sister site. He's followed up his awesome, 52-page recapped comic with a new series of eight modified covers under the title of Danny the Tranny. There aren't many places on the web where you can find modified TG covers that reference Tom Stoppard, that's for sure.
If you love Seuzz's work, or even just like it a little, please consider leaving a post on the TGCaps Forum. As a reminder, everyone who's a member here is automatically a member on our sister site's forum. You have to log in separately, but that's it. I'm really hoping more people will give feedback to reward Seuzz for his Herculean efforts and output. He's produced a lot of witty text and used some classic hard-boiled and humorous images for us all to enjoy.
February 2, 2010
Happy Groundhog Day! Today we've got Chapter 1.2 of Mako's Touched by the Hand of God. And there's good news on the TBTHOG front. Chapter 1.7 will definitely see the light of day (and hopefully quite a few chapters beyond that), so those of you who are familiar with the cliffhanger ending of Chapter 1.6 and have been waiting with bated breath since 2005 to see what happens next will finally have an answer. Stay tuned!
Also, I plugged Seuzz's work on TGCaps a day before he completely blew my mind by posting the longest capped comic (52 pages!!!) in the history of the site. Body Crime 174 contains six separate comics involving TG crime. There's also some nifty front matter (a cover and a one pager), and back matter (a hilarious ad and a nifty plug for some other TGC mod works). As Andi Foster so aptly put it on the TGCaps Forum, Seuzz's scripts are deadpan funny. Don't miss it!
January 31, 2010
Chapter 5 of Are You Ready To Rock (76 panels) is up on the site for everyone who has purchased our newest Premium Comic. Bree is doing her utmost to win the contest, but coming out on top sometimes involves much more than what takes place in front of the cameras. And sometimes, a guy posing as a gal has to decide, "How much of a girl do I really want to be?"
It never hurts to promote our sister site, TGCaps. I wanted to give a shout-out to Seuzz, who's been on a roll lately (and has more great stuff in the works). Seuzz has produced a plethora of different mod covers, including the genre he practically owns, TG Crime! He's done a new modified comic recently, as well as some pulp covers. I'm so glad he came back to the modified TG fold after being on hiatus for a year or more.
You can see the bulk of Seuzz's work by checking out his mod covers and his mod comics.

It's the first full moon of 2010, so that means chapter 21 of the Werewif. Linus is still wrestling with how to handle his unique situation, but meanwhile, there are other interesting developments...
The panels are slightly smaller this month, due to Gwydhar's recent computer problems, but there's still some great compositions (as in the panel to the right). Also, for those who are fans of Gwydhar's art, she's done a nice behind-the-scenes post about drawing the Werewif on her blog. You can see it at gwydhar.wordpress.com. She's trying to build up her subscriber list, so please join if you have the inkling. All you need is an email address.
Gwydhar's posts on a variety of different topics on her blog, and they're all pretty interesting. I think she writes well (in addition to drawing well).
Back tomorrow with the next chapter of Ready to Rock!
January 26, 2010
The response to Touched by the Hand of God and Mako joining the TGC roster has been terrific. Thanks to everyone who's posted to the TGC Forum. Hopefully it will spur Mako on to create a new chapter of TBTHOG before too long (though no deadline pressure, Mako. When you can!).
Up today is Chapter 1.1 of the comic. We learn more about the sexy female vampire who's visited David at the bookshop, and we get to see a terrific M2F transformation.
One quick plug. Holly Dunn has completed a new comic after a hiatus. It's available on Icolan's Who Needs Freehand site, and contains some of Holly's characters from earlier works. Fans of Ms. Dunn will want to check out the part one of The Good Son.

Chapter 4 of Are You Ready To Rock (86 panels) is up on the site for everyone who has purchased our newest Premium Comic. Brian and Bree are now both competing in the contest. Can they both make it all the way to the finals? We'll see!
I thought it might be a good time to give our sister site, TGCaps, a mention. There's been some nifty stuff posted there in the first weeks of 2010. Seuzz has been posting many terrific covers. Jezzi Stewart and Lorna continue their prolific ways when it comes to making fun and original covers and caps. Captain Dunsel has added some new pages to his wonderful and pitch-perfect Star Trek comic. If you do see some work you enjoy while poking around the site, please do take the time to post a comment on the TGCaps Forum. It's the only payment these hard-working cappers receive, and there really hasn't been much feedback in recent days.

I'm proud to announce that today one of the most prolific, talented and original tellers of TG tales is joining our roster of talented artists. Who am I talking about? Mako!
For those of you who don't know, Mako has been making art, sequences, comics, animated and dramatic films for many years. Along with CBlack, he was a contributing member to the late, lamented Siren Song website. You can buy a lot of his work on DVD at Mako Pictures. I love all of Mako's films. My favorites among his recent work is The Black Rabbit and The Last Piece Standing.
One of the things Mako created on the old Siren Song site was a comic called Touched by the Hand of God. At that time, it was only available as a SWF with Ken Burns-ish animation (zooming in and out and panning across the still panels). I believe it was also offered up as jpegs on Second Life when Mako was active there (and perhaps it's still available there, I'm not certain). In any case, Mako has given me permission to publish here on TGC the seven chapters he created a few years back (Chapters 1.0 through 1.6). And the truly exciting news is that Mako has said that he's considering continuing work on the comic. If the response is strong enough, we'll get to see Chapters 1.7 and beyond. I do hope reaction to this comic is positive and strong, because presently, I have to warn those of you who haven't read the comic, it ends on a total cliff-hanger!
Touched by the Hand of God is different from anything posted to TGC. I see a Tim Burton influence on the characters and story-telling. It's funny, scary and packed with action. There are some sexually explicit scenes, so those of you who don't want to see such things should stay away. (There's nothing terribly explicit in the first few chapters, so those of you who avoid explicit images might want to give it a try anyway).
Please welcome Mako to TGC. I hope you'll take the time to urge him to continue working on Touched by the Hand of God on the TGC Forum!

Chapter 3 of Are You Ready To Rock is up on the site for everyone who has purchased our newest Premium Comic. One thing I wanted to mention is that CBlack wants to keep the outfits Bree wears for her performances under wraps, so you'll get to enjoy them for the first time when you read the comic. That's why you don't see images of Bree performing in any of the preview images. CBlack is well-known for his renderings of sultry females, and Bree on stage is definitely one of his hottest creations!
Thanks to everyone who's bought the comic or considered buying the comic. I'm sorry if it wasn't clear to everyone that CBlack's longer projects generally are published serially (one chapter at a time). We published Road Trip and Narcissus' Twin this way, and will most likely continue publishing CBlack this way going forward.
I'm behind on everything, as usual, but will definitely have some new items posted to the site later this week. We've got a couple new artists who will be making their debut on the site in the coming days, and I'm always thrilled when we have an opportunity to expand our roster of talented contributors to TGC.
Stay tuned!

Happy birthday to TGC! The site is ten years old today. Wow! I can't believe TGComics has been around for an entire decade. It's been a lot of work. Learned a lot of technical web stuff. Seen a lot of great art. Worked with and posted the work of many very talented people. And had fun becoming friends with lots of folks interested in comics and things TG all around the globe.
To celebrate this anniversary, we're celebrating today by posting the first two chapters of our next Premium Comic. Are You Ready To Rock is a 732 panel comic in seven chapters, and it's the latest comic by our most popular artist on the site, CBlack.
Are You Ready to Rock tells the story of Brian, a very talented musician who, despite his skills with the guitar, has never gotten past playing mostly-empty bars in Eugene, Oregon. His friend, Amy, convinces him to try out for the nationally televised talent show, "Are You Ready To Rock?" But working to become a finalist on the show is a much more complicated journey than Brian ever imagined it could be, and along the way, he has to make some compromises, and dramatic changes, in order to fulfill his dreams.
I don't want to reveal too much about the plot here, so as not to spoil the fun. You can preview Chapter One (79 panels) before you buy the comic so you'll have a good understanding of the art and storytelling. CBlack's 3D renderings improve with each comic he creates, and Are You Ready To Rock is no exception. Many images in this comic are simply gorgeous. And the story is energetic and engaging. CBlack is definitely stretching his wings and not repeating himself with this comic -- there is no mind control, brainwashing, bimbofication or anything along those lines. Are You Ready To Rock is romantic, involving, and passionate. Please note that the story takes place in a world that is, as I like to call it, "Five Degrees from Reality." It's a world where potent, feminizing drugs exist (if only there were!).
We'll post a new chapter of Are You Ready To Rock each week for the next five weeks until the entire comic is posted (roughly five weeks from now). Once that happens (the entire comic is posted), it will go up for sale on Lulu.com, so those of you who can't or don't want to use CCBill will then be able to buy it. If you still have questions, you can find out more information about Are You Ready To Rock on its Preview page.
I know $12.00 is a lot to pay for an online comic, but I think CBlack's compositions and storytelling are worth the price, and hope you do too. For those of you who simply can't afford to buy the comic, I do understand your frustration at not being able to view the comic. Please know that the vast majority of work posted to this site will always be available for free, and charging money for a few comics helps keep this site growing and thriving.
One final note, the folks who wrote winning song lyrics in the recent Forum contest for Are You Ready To Rock will be given free access to the comic. Congratulations to AKramden, Tristra and Auryn Dawn, among others!
Thanks again for taking this trip with me over the last decade, for supporting TGComics, and making this site a special little place on the web.

I'm a big fan of Siproites' art. His drawings always look easy, effortless, the signs of a skilled artist. I enjoy his depictions of manly men and voluptuous women. And, of course, I love the way he depicts manly men changing into voluptuous women! And I love his sense of humor!
Today we've got a terrific new sequence by Siproites called Men's Room. It's a fourteen-panel sequence with some panels containing multiple images. And great process (for those who enjoy seeing various stages of a transformation).
Please be warned that Men's Room contains sexually explicit content, so please don't click on the link if you don't want to see such things!
For all those fans of Siproites' work, I want to mention that in the near future we'll have a gorgeous, color Premium Comic by Siproites for sale. And he's working on some other projects as well. So 2010 should be a great year for seeing more beautifully rendered pages by this very talented artist. I, for one, can't wait to see what he comes up with next!
Quick plug for the day: if you haven't visited in awhile, be sure to check out the Satin Minions website (which contains original, erotic artwork). There's some new pages of a TG comic, a revised TG animation, and some nice drawings of sexy girls (and some nicely drawn, animated sex acts). Another talented artist, for sure.

Still working away on many updates that will be coming in the new year (are people saying two-thousand-ten or twenty-ten?). In the meantime, I'm posting something I've been itching to post -- Devtek's Italian translation of our first Premium comic, Brownsville (by Tebra).
Devtek not only did the translation himself, but also did all the captioning. And he really did a marvelous job. It's seamless! I'm not sure how he did it, but Devtek somehow managed to neatly fit the new Italian words in the existing, sometimes very small, word balloons. So, for those Italian speakers who have always wanted to read the comic (or others who might simply enjoy taking a look), Brownsville is now available to anyone who has purchased it in English and Italian. The bonus pic has been translated as well! And if you haven't already bought Brownsville, you can always go to your TGC Membership Page and buy it!
Two quick plugs. I already plugged this on the Forum, but I wanted to let everyone know about the Young Adult novel I just read that features a TG character. Almost Perfect is one of the best pieces of TG fiction I've read for any age group. It's realistic and romantic. The characters will stay with you long after you finish the last page. I urge you to pick up a copy if you can. You won't regret it!
I also wanted to mention that Icolan has completed a couple of new comics. Icolan is one of my favorite creators of comics with TG content, for sure, and Secret Life and 3rd Wheel are among his best. One is available for free, the other costs $3.00. Icolan hasn't completed any new comics in awhile, so it's great to see some new work from him (and his 3D images look better than ever!).

Today's the last day of 2009. And tonight's a full moon. And a blue moon! I can't resist shamelessly plug the photocomic involving a blue moon that I did a few years back. It can be found on TGCaps. And, of course, a full moon means a new chapter of the Werewif.
I say of course, as if every full moon will always bring twelve new panels of the Werewif. But all good things come to an end, and Gwydhar has informed me that 2010 will most likely be the last year for this comic. Twelve more chapters, more or less. Gwydhar is an artists with varied talents, so I can understand her wanting to move on to other things, but I'll be sad not to visit with Linus and Lindsay every twenty-eight days or so.
We'll see what happens. Perhaps Gwydhar can be persuaded to continue the comic for another few months (or even few years!). Share your thoughts on the TGC Forum if you'd like.
And Happy New Year! I can't believe it's already 2010! Wasn't it the millennium just about a minute ago?
December 26, 2009
The Christmas festivities continue with Miss-tletoe, a wonderful, 13-panel sequence by Smooch.
December 25, 2009
Merry Christmas or happy whatever other holiday you may be celebrating this time of year!
Thought I'd celebrate the day by updating Smooch's corner of the site. I want to show some love to a very gifted artist, one who sometimes doubts his own tremendous talents. One glance at any of these new sequences is, I think, ample evidence of Smooch's skills with a pencil.
Finding the Right Look, Skirt Chaser, and Getting Some Tail are three sequences new to TGComics, though many of you have probably already seen them on deviantART. The sequences are chopped up into individual panels here, so even if you've enjoyed them before, you might like peeking at them again in this slightly different format.
Also added are four wonderful drawings to Smooch's Portfolio. I never get tired of seeing newly-minted girls check out their new bodies in front of the mirror. A timeless theme! Two of these images have been posted on TGComics before as part of other works by Smooch, but they're repeated here, so we can enjoy all four variations of A Whole New Outlook.
Best wishes to everyone who stops by the site! I hope you enjoy your visits to TGComics and find it to be a little haven from the sometimes harsh realities of life. May you and your loved ones have a great day!
December 22, 2009
Today we've got a treat that's been eagerly anticipated by many of you -- the earth-shattering conclusion of Bachelor Pad! This update contains 66 multi-paneled, action-packed pages (nearly doubling the length of the entire comic!).
I continue to love the way Keshara composes his individual images and chops up his pages. Multi-paneled pages are, in my mind, much harder to do well than single paneled pages, and Kesh consistently keeps them visually interesting.
And the story has a unique tone as well. I treasure artists whose work looks and sounds like no one else's, that's instantly identifiable, and Keshara's Bachelor Pad certainly qualifies on that score.
I'm sure there will be some questions about some plot points in this comic. For any readers who have questions about Steve Cole, Adam, or anything else, Keshara has promised to answers your questions on the Forum.
Enjoy!
December 19, 2009
December is rapidly slipping away. Sorry again about the lack of updates. I'm working on lots of stuff that will be posted here in the coming weeks and months, but as far as the end of 2009, the updates remain a little slow.
Thankfully, Infinity Sign's been bailing me out with his holiday comic. Today we've got the second part of his Spirit of Christmas. This update shows the power of feedback -- Infinity was inspired to fire off another seventy-two panels of the story because of the posts people made on the TGC Forum after the initial installment.
I think Infinity has wrapped up this story in a very satisfying way -- it captures the spirit of the holiday while remaining true to the spirit of Brad. I think you'll definitely get a chuckle out of this one. Thanks again, Infinity!
I've also updated the links page. And I also wanted to mention that there have been some great updates this month over at our sister site, TGCaps. Seuzz has become an official contributor to the site and posted a parcel of great covers and comics. And there have been some nifty updates to the TGCaps Forum as well.
I'm hoping to have one more very nice update around Christmas -- so stay tuned!
December 9, 2009
The updates are a little slow right now. We've got a few great comics in the works, but real life has been kicking my butt in terms of work recently. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. Not in this economy! Anyway, there's still more steps to complete before any of them will be ready for publication. Thanks in advance for being patient!
In the meantime, we've got a holiday quickie from Infinity Sign. Spirit of Christmas is a fifty panel offering (with a couple of nifty animated SWF panels thrown in). It tells the story of Brad, a jerk who thinks every woman he meets wants him, and that kids need to be disillusioned about the fraudulent nature of Christmas. Let's just say there are certain forces out there who don't appreciate Brad's attitude, and decide to make some changes.
Infinity has said there's a chance he might do some bonus pics for this comic, so perhaps if we ask him nicely, we'll get to see some hot images to keep us warm through the winter months (for those of us living in the northern hemisphere, that is).
December 2, 2009
Yep. It's a full moon tonight, so that means twelve new panels of the Werewif.
Last month, a few folks expressed disappointment at the pace of the story. To me, such sentiments are complimentary, because it means they're hungry to read more. I imagine the same folks will feel a similar frustration with this installment, because so much is left to learn about Linus and the man/woman who changed him. I know I'm dying to know what lies ahead for our somewhat hapless protagonist! Only Gwydhar and Ellen know for sure!
The good news is that there are two full moons in December, so we should be getting another twelve panels of Werewif to read at the end of the month!
Peace,
