it doesn't deviate that much, really...its just that manga are all about the story line since you have less space...anime's have the space for extra scenes and such. The manga is just starting to catch up with the anime because in chapter 11 he just got switched to the girls side of the school.

I think it's a great show, if a little over the top with certain elements that can detract from a plot that currently has a few holes that need to be filled (which is why I'm hooked!) ... I haven't read the entire manga, I just don't get time to, but sure ok the anime deviates from the manga, I can't name a film or a tv anime that doesn't from the top of my head. I can go with the manga normally being much better than the film/t.v show - but I suppose that can depend on which you see/read first.
Still I'm waiting with bated breath for the next episode to be released and subbed, because they can't leave it where it is, but then I supose it has to be written etc.... I have totally been drawn in by it so far, I'm also looking forward to the DVD release, whenever that might eventualy be. Seeing my japanese isn't too good (ie no ability) then I have to go by what I can find or translate which isn't always the best.

I'm also becoming a fan of the show. Not since Ranma 1/2 have I been this eager to see a TF TG related anime. Sure there seem to be a lot of unanswered questions - but my hope is that they're not glossed over and we'll get them in time.
