Here is an alt to doing the dressing up seen, at least for me. It was a lot of fun and you should seen the kids load that hit the house for a treat. I lot of work but a lot fun. All complement that I got, I am starting to plan for next Halloween.

Thank you Great Sage

What I try to do is to set up a system. With the lights I have cup hooks up under the eves and I basely walk with a poll with a cup hook on it and place the lights on the hook. The other thing is to set up a system of boxes with all my goody in them. The best part of doing the all the work is the compliments that I got. I had a fog machine going and I found some disco Halloween music I had a lot of fun watching the tricker and treater come up some of the younger were a little frighten by my floating ghost figure. All and all I had between 80 and 100 kid and adults come by. Lot of happy smiles. I am now planning for Halloween next year and long with planning for starting Christmas lights in the too weeks from now

There's this person that lives around the corner from my sister and parents (they have houses within five minutes of each other) that is like you - goes all out in the decoration for Holidays - it must be nice to be so competent with a practical skill like that - I can barely change a fuse. :)
