TGComics second Premium Comic is Road Trip. It's the newest comic by our most popular artist on the site, CBlack.
Road Trip tells the story of Nick Granger, an unemployed computer programmer who gets hired to drive a 1965 Mustang from Kansas City to Seattle, and... lets just say that Nick undergoes some significant changes along the way.
CBlack's work continues to evolve with every comic he creates. He now uses Carrara for most of his rendering, which enables him to create scenery, and exquisite lighting, in a way not possible using 3D programs such as Poser or Daz Studio alone.
We're charging a bit more for Road Trip ($12.00) than most of the other Premium Comics we'll be selling on the site. Please keep in mind that it's a longer story, in six parts, so it's basically $2.00 per chapter (or per "Day," as we're calling the different sections). If you'd like a peek at the comic before purchasing, you can preview Day 1 (62 panels).
To be perfectly clear, the entire comic is broken down as follows: Day 1 is 62 panels; Day 2 is 39 panels; Day 3 is 111 panels; Day 4 is 52 panels; Day 5 is 85 panels; and the last section, Aftermath, is 70 panels. So that's 419 panels total.
If you're into TG fiction categories, the following labels (among others) would apply: Mind Control, Chemical Change, Stuck. Process: Slow.
What you are buying when you purchase Road Trip is lifetime access to a gallery containing the comic. You will need to be logged in to view the comic, otherwise, you'll be redirected to this page. The gallery works exactly the same as all the public galleries on TGComics. You'll be able to download jpegs and save them on your computer, if you'd like. There will also be a PDF file available for each "Day," if you'd like to download one day at a time (pardon the pun for those who get it!). And there's a zipped file of the jpegs for each "Day" as well, if you prefer to download those.
Now that the entire comic has been published, it is also available for sale at lulu.com. Lulu taked Paypal, and so, folks who aren't comfortable using a credit card, don't have access to a credit card, and/or have problems buying from CCBill (our credit card processor) can buy a complete, 419-page PDF from lulu.com.
