It’s time for Issue 4 of King’s Blood, another amazing series from Tom Reynolds!
In 1727, three witches placed a curse upon a ring… one that would turn the king into a beautiful young woman. The newly minted maiden would feel a desperate, irresistible passion, as would the first man who crosses her path. The witches did all this to stop a war, and perhaps it would have worked, but events moved quickly and the old England of magic and mysticism faded away without the ring ever being worn.
But the magic never died… and in 1995 it was rediscovered on land that a young man has inherited. George is from a forgotten branch of the royal house and has little idea of his royal lineage. He and his best friend Billy are exploring the terrain, and when Billy finds a ring on the ground, one that looks like it might be pure gold, it looks like fate.
George needs a ring, after all, because he’s about to marry Kate, the woman he loves so much. But he still doesn’t have a wedding ring. Is this ring as authentic as it looks? Billy found it on George’s land, so that means it belongs to George, right? Billy says perhaps it can be his wedding present as George casually slips it on his finger. And then… BAM!
George wakes up hours later. He’s been transformed into a breathtakingly beautiful young woman… and the first man he runs into is Roy, Kate’s ex. The curse says that the newly minted maiden will feel an irresistible yearning for the first man she meets, and that’s what happens. Georgia (she’s passing herself off as George’s sister) and Roy have been fucking like bunnies, they can’t seem to ever get enough of each other.
There have been other revelations as well. Billy is dead! He’s still around, but he’s a ghost. And it turns out that Kate ia a descendent of one of the witches, and when she was helping her nana throw out a few things, she did come across an old book. A spell book?
And Georgia manages to stop having sex with Roy long enough to step out of the house. What will her first time out in public be like?
That, and other questions, will be answered in Issue #4 of the series. This update comes in at 30 multi-paneled pages (plus a cover). Check it out!
